The lay out and views are excellent and the art gallery although small is well worth a visit. There is a very good childrens playground in the park as well.

We had to visit every day on a recent visit to Whitby. The playground is amazing for both small to older children. The pirate and sea theme is great, with great park areas for picnics.

I walked through Pannett Park to get to the museum and it was lovely to wander through it . There's a mixture of modern sculpture and old and lots of sitting areas where you can sit anf enjoy the views.

The park was beautifully laid out and thought the Jubilee floral clock very well laid out. The wooden whalebone sculptures very good and the general layout and maintenance of the gardens very well done. Well done the... More
