What an amazing adventure playground! Wish there'd been anything like this when I was a kid! Kids from two to late teens having fun together in a great space: full of climbing, sliding, musical (yes!) springy, wobbly, educational fun. There's also great grounds to stroll in, and a fun quiz for 3+ years to be had from the museum/gallery building,... More

We were staying at Rylstone Mere B&B across the road from this park and had to check it out, extremely neat and tidy. litter free and really nice clear footpaths. Up to date play area with a museum based in the centre, hidden gem

If you find it, you will love it. An old fashioned feel about this park which is on a hilly slope. Great rose beds, great ornamental pond, great wildlife with a few squirrels knocking about and a great view from the highest point.

A quiet retreat. The park is clean and beautifully kept, a haven from the hustle and bustle of Whitby

This was a beautiful park, very neatly kept and nicely planted. We were very disappointed that we could not take our well behaved dogs in to enjoy the park on a very hot day. We are happy to keep our dogs on their leads and always pick up their poo.

Lovely quiet and unassuming space to sit and contemplate, before heading off to the museum. You can imagine historic Whitby in this park.

If ever you are in Whitby make sure you take a stroll round Pannett Park. Years ago they didn't look after it as well as they ought and it went 'down hill', but now it is well tended and well stocked with many plants. The grass is well cut and the shrubs looked after just as it ought to be.... More

Lovely colourful park which is well maintained with plenty of seating. There is a flower clock and other themed areas. Well worth a stroll around if in Whitby.
