Be sure to find the Monkey trees, the flower clock and the timeline in the walkway! We were there just after the tulips and before the roses and it was still beautiful. Be sure to visit he Museum while you are there

Worth a wander around on a Sunday morning - a real gem in a very pretty town. Lots of places to sit and take in the views of the Abbey

Lovely for a stroll on a sunny day-historical information, well kept and lots of beautiful flowers-great as an alternative to walk into town from our B&B instead of using the road.

We visit Whitby every year but only discovered how lovely this park is last time we visited, we went back this year and had a lovely walk round. Beautiful and full of interesting things to look at, it's only small but well laid out and so feels much bigger than it is.

Constantly changing-have visited since our children were small and everytime we go there is something new at the museum or in the park itself. Best parking for this is on West Cliff so you are not hiking uphill from the town.

Gardens well kept, good views, can get to it from the open topped bus, and Whitby museum is in the grounds.
