Did ghost walk on Halloween night. Organisers are very very rude, paid money to be given a badge and told "put it on". When I prompted him with please, the answer I got was wear it or I will charge you double!!!. Very boring walk, stories not at all ghostly, lost interest very quickly, complete waste of money!!

I went on both the Ghost tour and the Dracula tour they were both well worth the money! The Man in Black was an excellent story teller. Both tours lasted a little over an hour. If you have a hard time with stairs or hills I would not recommend this tour. He is a teaser and very sarcastic so if... More

This review is for the ghost walk rather than the dracula walk. Having read the good reviews we were looking forward to an entertaining evening but it was disappointing and not worth the money. BEWARE children aged 12 and over are charged at the adult price of £5 and children under 12, £3, making it expensive for families with older... More

Before we paid the guide for the walk, I enquired about the nature of the walk - whether it was lots of steps or if it was up and down slopes. I explained that I have difficulty with steps - particularly going up. I walk with a stoop and a walking stick and wanted to know before we set off... More

I was interested to learn more about the Dracula story and this walking tour certainly satisfied my curiosity. Harry (the guide) really played the part and was a fantastic story teller and I was very impressed by his interaction with all of the people on the tour. I'm not sure how he managed to remember where everybody came from! It... More

Very good way to spend an evening. 75mins long and takes in some little dark alleys and nooks and crannies of Whitby. Harry, your host for the evening, is a first class teller of the origins of the Dracula story and adds humour and audience involvement during his tales. Involves the children in tales and keeps their interest well. Good... More

Being our 1st time in Whitby and also Dracula enthusiasts in general. We embarked on the much researched and anticipated Harry Collett "in search of Dracula walking tour". Being of the enlightened few who have actually read the novel "Dracula" we found the tour very informative and really entertaining and of Harry, a true gentleman and someone who posesses limitless... 5 pound Hour long walk that starts and ends at the whale bones. The story of Dracula and the author, some fact and some fiction. Website has tour dates, times etc. best to do it when it's not so busy (we went bank holiday weekend). Best to also try and go off peak when it's dark for extra mystery, as... More
