We took my grandson here on a beautiful summer's day. All of the plants can be seen in their maturity which allows you to plan your garden more accurately. Ted enjoyed being able to explore every pretty nook and cranny

We visit every time we visit the area. They have such a wonderful and unusual collection of plants, shrubs and trees which you can see growing in their wonderful garden. Well worth a visit to this wonderful village.

This garden centre is in the heart of the picturesque little village Lealholm near Whitby. It's great for a day out with the family, the staff are very helpful and child friendly providing a 'Lady bird hunt' for the little ones! The garden is always neat, tidy and full of inspirational displays. Its a real treasure trove, not just for... More

Well kept and well stocked. The nursery is beautifully laid out showing plants in their ideal situation with labels giving useful information. The plants which are for sale are in good condition and the nursery is very neat and weed free. The lady in charge was careful to point out which of the plants I'd purchased would need winter protection,... More

On a day of sunshine and snow, a magical visit. The quality and care taken with the plants was outstanding and very much on a par with costs with more commercial centres. Service was brilliant. The nursery was like a large well kept back garden with all planted shrubs labelled. Easy parking a few yards away.

An absolute joy. A beautiful garden - worth a visit on its own. You can see many of the plants that are on sale. As there are planting dates, it's possible to get an idea what shrubs or trees will be like after a few years. Interesting stock. Always informative and helpful advice.
