We went on the 20min boat trip with our 2 year old twins, they loved it and was just the correct length of time. Children are free so a great price for a family, would recommend.

This was one of the best boat trips we have ever done. Not only were we fortunate enough to see an abundance of seals and birdlife, we were surrounded by Minke whales. Just when it couldn't get any better, with Minke swimming around us and pointing their noses up in the air, a juvenile Humpback whale came to the boat... More

I went out on the Specksioneer on a 4 hour Whitby Whale Watching cruise. It was amazing, it does take a while to get far enough out to sea to the whale's favorite feeding spots but skipper Brian knows his stuff and where to look. Within minutes of seeing a folk of diving gannets we were surrounded by seals and... More

Went on the Whitby Whale Watching trip hoping for a glimpse of minke whales. Oh boy, did we get our wish! Not only minke (all around our boat at one point) but a humpback whale too. The gannets were plunge diving, there were common and grey seals all over the place then the chance of a lifetime.....a juvenile humpback. How... More

Had a trip round out to see on this nice little boat, got a very good few of the abbey from the sea, only thing it missed was a commentary from the crew. Well worth a go.

Miserable - this is how we'd describe this experience. We were warned on the quayside that the sea was "a bit rough" - a tad understated we felt but that wasn't the reason for our disappointing experience. There was no commentary of what was happening or where we were headed and the woman on board didn't crack a single smile... More

We wanted to have a look a whitby from the sea but usually for a family of five theses things cost too much but here we did this for £2.50 a person for a good 20 minutes with the added bonus of spotting a dolphin .Very friendly staff too.

Lovely, absolutely lovely! We took the Esk Belle II out for an evening out from Whitby for an hour in the early evening. The beautiful summer evening cooperated. Even so, the Skipper and his wife created a comfortable relaxing, and welcoming, experience. No big microphone. Open to answering questions. Quickly pointed out interesting facts or scenes - such as the... More

We were aboard the Esk Belle III. The outbound trip to Runswick Bay was a wonderful experience, so we 17 would like to thank the Captain, Crew and the team behind them. Thanks to all, Runswick in the Sun, then as we were about to turn back to Whitby "runswick in the rain", what an amazing contrast, as we approached... More
