Lovely little boat trip around the harbour. Great value for £2.50. Good short 20 minute trip. Pleasant staff, short but ok description of the journey.

Thankfully, I didn't hand any money over to this company but amongst many others, I stood and watched in disgust as the boat deliberately drowned two baby seagulls that had unfortunately got themselves caught up in a crabbing line. They had promised some onlookers an attempt at a rescue but quite obviously ploughed straight through it, dragging both the baby... More

Like the reviewer of 28 August, my wife and I were excited to book for a 2 hour whale watching trip for £10 each. On 14 August we were told to turn up at 10 to 6 only to be informed in the fancy whale watching office that all seats were sold and there was no record of our booking!... More

Not having taken both kids out on a boat before, the 20 minute trip was perfect. The crew were friendly, the boat was comfortable and clean - it was good fun. Would recommend it - especially if you're not sure about the kids retaining stomach integrity when out to sea.

I was really looking forward to going on a whale watching trip and had telephoned about a week before I was due in Whitby to make sure I got a place. The man I spoke to took my name and said turn up at quarter to six and we will get you on. I turned up to find a queue... More

We tried this to fill a bit of time, but were so pleased we did. At £2.50 for 20 minutes its good value and the tour lasted a lot longer. We had great views back towards Whitby, different from the views normally seen. The guide was knowledgeable, and told us that we may be lucky enough to see porpoises or... More

I love boat trips in Whitby and this is one of the best. At £2.50 for a 20 minute trip it is well worth the money. Boats are clean, staff are very friendly. Amazing views, and one the best ways to see Whitby.

We went on a trip one evening last week while on a break in Whitby. It is well worthwhile the £5 per ticket for the 1 hour "up river" cruise as you get to see Whitby from a different perspective. The Skipper provided a well informed commentry throughout the voyage, this being depsite a rather Vocal coxwain from the local... More
