We met my daughter here last Saturday, we travelled from Harrogate, she travelled from Manchester. We were really looking forward to this, I had checked the times online (on their website). This is what I've copied from the site, Displays are at 12 noon, 2pm and 3-30pm. We came at 3pm and there was no-one around we checked the sign... More

I went some time ago hoping for some notes to take back to the States as I am trying to get my falconry license. I had no working phone in the UK to contact in advance, so I went simply with questions, honestly expecting the place to be closed that time of year. Upon arrival, they were open! And I... More

After spending the morning in Settle, my sister and I decided to visit the centre. The exhibition upstairs was okay but could do with being updated and having some interactive features. I do however understand that these would be quite costly for a small family business. I think they could maybe introduce an adoption scheme like other places and use... More

We regularly drive through the countryside and like to stop in cafes and little villages. Stopped here just to use the cafe. It was very dark and all the cottage style tables were really sticky. Anyway, ordered two coffees - no lattes here as its from a machine which doesnt do lattes. ok, no problem. The problem came when we... More

not the most excciting bird sanctuary but still very good for £7 enterance if you stop for the bird displays, We thouroughly enjoyed watching the tricks some of the local birds get up to and if you take the trip as a calm day out and dont over expect then you will enjoy it the restaurant could do with a... We visited whilst on holiday in Ingleton. Day got off to bad start kept waiting for a good 10 minutes to pay the admission fee. The birds themselves looked healthy and well cared for and the young man who did the displays two of which we watched was knowledgeable and obviously cared greatly about the birds. Then you have the... More

I booked two full-day experiences for my partner's birthday present. It was well worth the money and a really great day. The staff were welcoming and very knowledgeable about the birds, and obviously really love their jobs. The day was much more hands-on than we expected and it was thrilling to be so close to these beautiful birds.

This was a freezing cold day, but gloriously bright sunshine, and views that went on for ever around the centre. Four adults and two boys of 10 and 3 walked past the birds in their "caves" and enjoyed them as individuals before watching the flying demonstration. The young man who handled the birds clearly knew them well, and loved them... More
