Great small venue where you can get close to the stage and watch some of the best acts you will see. Many comedians come here to try out their new acts so their are some big names who play here. Prices are reasonable for the shows and the bar is a good cosy place for a drink or sit outside... More

Lovely little theatre. Good view even at the front. We went to see both shows yesterday, when we booked we were lucky enough to get seats in the first row and then the second row. Sound and lighting very good - well done to the theatre backstage team. The bar is surprising - good prices and staff. Interesting ceiling -... More

Small intimate venue which attracts some incredible and varied artists. We have seen Miriam Margolyes, Mark Steele, Julian Clary, Alex Horne to name but a few. Think it's the best venue in Norwich.

Been here a few times and caught a couple of performances which were decent, it's a nice intimate little place and a sensible alternative to Theatre Royal if you like what's on! The Playhouse Bar is bustling and lively, very popular with NUA (Norwich University of Arts) students and city-goers alike, the atmosphere is very good and not rowdy plus... More

As an NUA student I love this place, it's close to uni and tea/coffee are very reasonably priced. It does get incredibly busy on a Saturday night, but the ambiance is just great! Definitely worth a visit if you are passing.

Great little venue which hosts many warm up shows for top comedians before they hit the road. Music gigs are also held here check UEA bookings for more info. The bar and beer garden are worth a look nice spending a summers evening over looking the river.
