Lots of ducks and swans to be fed and get up close to! A nice small sand srea for children to play. Clean splash area for the summer. The main park is good well looked after. Overall all a nice place to take children to! Parking is rubbish as you have to park on the main road and its limited!

After a trip into the city with my Niece & Nephew, we decided to find somewhere to eat the picnic lunch I had packed up and we came across Wensun Park. We parked along the road and headed in. We sum park is a little treasure in or with, not only does it have the park facilities which are good, there is also a little woodland walk, a little river with ducks to feed a smaller sand park and a swimming/paddling pool, it's also good for fishing,

The kids play area is great and the gardens are beautifully kept. The only grips are the slight lack of care around the river where you can find lots of beer cans and rats and the fact that dogs aren't allowed. I'm sure if an 'on the lead' policy was in place, it would be ok.

Thre is a kid's play area and a river at the bottom but above all it's just a lovely space to spent a summer's afternoon
