I'm sure all the descriptions like 'a little gem' 'hard to believe you're a stone's throw from the city centre' etc. have been used before, and quite rightly so. It is run by volunteers and thankfully there is no souvenir shop or cafeteria. Teas are served during the summer and (weather permitting) nothing could be more pleasant in such delightful... More

Great place for a picnic in the sunshine! Beautiful to look at and never crowded, you forget you're in a city centre at all. Norwich's own (not so) secret garden!

This is a unique garden in the built up part a Norwich, if you did not know of it you would never find it. The garden is maintained by volunteers, its quiet and peaceful, away from the madding crowd. One of those places where, each time you change your viewpoint you see something quite different or which you missed last... More

This garden is run by volunteers. We visited on the day that they had come to tidy the garden up. There is a £2 fee which you are asked to put in the honesty box, this also is used for you to pay for plants as there is a small nursery here too. The garden drops away from the road... More

It had a lot of interesting plants and some follies, there were also lots of very tame squirrels. If you were there to take photographs you could visit throughout the year, if you wanted to just sit in the gardens you would probably find it a bit cold in October. It only costs £2, there is an honesty box as... More

Sympathetic restoration of Henry Trevor's victorian garden. A joy to behold for a very modest entrance fee and recommended for horticulture enthusiasts, garden designers and general relaxees.

This is a short walk from the city centre. Upon arrival there was no-one around and an honest box was there for you to put £2 each in to enter the gardens. The toilet was locked, there was no info guide or map of the gardens. All in all it was pretty bad value for money and I certainly wouldn't... More

The gardens are lovely but a bit difficult to manage if you are disabled as there are steps. Also As i cant climb steps I couldnt visit the tree house.Refreshments need improving as coffee was VERY strong and cold.

We were there on a fair day and it was really lovely and authentic. There is an old fountain close to the entrance which was my favourite. The garden is well maintained with beautiful plants and it was really nice strolling around. Just as you can read in one of the comments below, there was a proposal there on that... More
