Having decided to visit Great Yarmouth for a few days break my partner and I looked at the reviews for this and thought it was worth trekking across to Norwich for. Not the case we found it a waste of time and money. On arrival we passed it twice as the signposts indicated access only on foot which is poor... More

Lots of little paths and walkways to follow. Although small there was lots to see. A nice place to sit quietly and hard to believe it is in the centre of Norwich

Very pretty gardens, well worth a visit and not expensive to get in. Very interesting history also of how it was started and by whom.

Plantation Gardens was one of the highlights of my recent day trip to Norwich.Entry fee is only £2,which was money well spent. The gardens are really pretty and very well maintained. The Pagoda Fountain could be regarded as the focal point of the gardens. The garden has plenty of flower beds along the main central area.As you walk to the back of the... Situated near the Catholic Cathedral , this Gothic garden is well worth a visit. It has recently been renovated and there is some work being done currently. On our last visit there was a small gothic wedding picnic in the garden that added to its charm. There is an entry fee of £2 which you post into a little box

What a tranquil, glorious, historic place to visit. I was lucky enough to go with my team for a corporate responsibility afternoon. We were tasked with cutting a path into the hill side on a sunny afternoon. Whilst this was work, most people go to these gardens for their beauty, so working in such beauty made this an easy job.... Having drove past many times on the way into Norwich city we thought it time we went to see this 'secret garden' tucked away next to the Catholic Cathedral and what a great surprise it was 3 acres of Italian style garden full of lowers and ornate stonework all renovated in early 2000 to replicate designs dating back to 1890's... Situated about 20 min walk from Norwich city centre, next to the Catholic Cathedral, the Plantation Garden is an oasis of calm. I have visited this garden several times at different times of the year, and it never disappoints. Built in a 3 acre abandoned chalk quarry, it houses a variety of plants and flowers, lawns, and some fantastic Victorian... More
