One of the many helpful folks who stopped us in Norwich to see if we needed directions gave us directions but also told us about this garden. Evidently, few tourists learn about it, but it is well worth a visit. It's simply stunning.

Nice example of a Victorian garden - oasis of quiet from the bustle of Norwich. Some parts are still awaiting restoration by the Trust, but it's well worth the suggested £2 entrance fee (you put the money in an old post box). Enough information boards around to give you the history, and it's an easy walk from here into the... More

A beautiful Victorian town garden close to the Catholic Cathedral, which we had visited as part of the heritage open days last year. A Magnificent gothic fountain dominates this Garden, along with flower beds, lawns, an Italianate terrace, A ‘Medieval’ wall, woodland walkways and a rustic bridge. It is an idiosyncratic garden, a haven of peace and tranquility, despite the... More

This place is a real Wow! Especially when you hear the history of this place and it had remained totally hidden and undiscovered for many many years. This Victorian Garden is just stunning and so interesting, the architecture is gorgeous. They do serve tea and cake on the lawn as well.

Wonderful piece of Victoriana. Trust box for your admission price....how civilised! Not big but fascinating nonetheless.

This garden is definitely worth a visit. It is very pretty with different levels of height to walk around. Very lovely, for taking photographs.

Wonderful little hidden garden with a strange but beautiful fountain and full of gloriously odd Victorian folly-style brickwork. Parking is a problem because the adjacent hotel is fiendish in its antipathy towards visitors. Very near the RC cathedral ... also worth a visit to sit in the cafe garden. Not too far to walk from city centre, up St Giles... More

This garden is one of Norwich's secrets hidden away near the catholic cathedral. Once inside the garden is on various levels and is full of surprises it really is worth a visit.
