What a treasure!

Although not easy to find, this garden is well worth a visit whilst visiting Norwich. It is a quite and peaceful refuge.

Nestled in an ever increasing concrete jungle, my significant other showed me this little gem. Tucked away behind what were once beautiful buildings (now turned into less than average hotels), these gardens are immaculately preserved, a great place for a little walk or to come and sit in the summer sun.

I visited here not quite knowing what to expect, it truly is a delightful jewel in the middle of a busy city. It is quite amazing that as you enter and descend into the main garden, all traffic noise is blotted out by the trees and it is so tranquil. The gardens are beautifully cared for and tho small, perfectly... More

A lovely, well maintained garden in the heart of the city. It features some amazing brickwork and a fabulous gothic water feature.

Very peaceful and pretty gardens with cool gothic/medieval features. Was nice to walk around here for a little while (only £2 donation so very reasonable). The gardens are not huge but are very picturesque - would be a great spot for some wedding photos!

A very quiet haven in a busy city, a lovely garden that continues to be restored by dedicated volunteers. Its a shame that when we visited yesterday previous visitors to the restored summerhouse had not bothered to take their litter away with them and leave it for others to clear up. We walked to it as there is no convenient... More

We live very close to the garden oasis that is The Plantation Garden off the Earlham Road near the Roman Catholic cathedral in Norwich and visit it from time to time to admire the garden and seek peace and quiet. However, on Easter Monday the Garden had a special egg hunt for children, ideal for the two grandchildren staying with... More

I had lived in Norwich for at least ten years before I visited the Plantation Gardens for the first time. Once I had visited I kicked myself for not having gone sooner. From its simple entrance you could not anticipate just how stunning it is - not just because of the well-groomed plants but also because of it's landscaped shape... More
