A pleasant non energetic stroll may be had by following the river path. We picked it up from near the railway station on a early warm September evening, enjoying a walk into town for a meal. The walk itself can be quite contrasting in scenery, architecture and views. From river vista, to the cathedral, open fields, medieval buildings and small... More

Being from Australia I was amazed to see this quaint river with swans and longboats. The trees and parks were beautiful with autumn leaves. A lovely stroll.

Walked from train station to end of walk at north of city. Cold winters morning and a fresh air walk - wonderful. Plenty of interesting things on the trail and call into to a pub at the end of the walk.

A nice quiet riverside walk to enjoy views of the Cathedral and river with the opportunity to stop for lunch in one of the bars or restaurants

A great way to see the old and new parts of the City from the Riverside complex to Cow Tower and Pulls Ferry

I used to love walking here with the children; feeding the ducks, looking at the old buildings, watching the boats. You can deviate from this path to the Cathedral to visit, Zaks American Diner for some lunch, or the city to the shops.Peaceful way to spend a few hours.Nice for couples too.

We often do the Riverside Walk if we have friends staying with us. It is a very pleasant way to show them Norwich from a different aspect. You can intersperse the walk by deviating to visit other places such as Norwich Cathedral, Elm Hill etc and then pick it up again to carry on. It is interesting to see the... More

Just take your time and look around you, bring the guide book with you - and you can really travel back in time and see Norwich at a distance.

We do this walk at least once a week, it's so pretty with plenty to see including feeding the ducks if you want to. You can extend or shorten this walk as there are several points to alter the length if it? All on firm ground so you can take pushchairs and wheelchairs.
