take time to stroll along the river, enjoy the quiet, the water, the wildlife and the odd pint in one of local pubs

Just follow the walk on the tourist map, you can't get lost! A lovely walk in both directions on proper paths with a few interesting things to see en-route and also some nice 'watering holes' along the way. It's amazing how quickly you lose the noise of the city too.

A pleasant afternoon or evening walk but but apart from daffodils to look at, one family of Canadian geese (this is Norwich?), Pull's Ferry, Cow Tower which is locked to prevent entry, the last remaining 'Swan pit', there is little to see or do. Still....it remains a welcome 'lung' in the city and somewhere for people to enjoy a 'little'... More

We started by the law courts and ended up at Bishops Bridge.( You can carry on and make the walk longer into the city.)There is so much history in this comparatively short walk. The walk is quiet, away from traffic and very pleasant. It is worth doing a bit of research if you like history,Cow Tower , the Great Hospital... More

You can do as much or as little as you wish with loads of drop off points to visit places of interest, pubs or shops. It can get busy but never uncomfortably so. Try it early on a Sunday morning, no people, but loads of wildlife. The Adam & Eve PH on Bishopgate is well worth a visit.

A great quiet getaway, where you can amble along the riverside, stopping now and then to sit on the benches and watch the boats go by. A really lovely way to get to the river from the city center is to walk through the Cathedral grounds.

The river walk was very pleasant in a very sunny February day. Not many people about but it was very peaceful.

as it almost circles the city, the walk is a great way to take in a bit of relaxed air before getting back into the city. Fishing, river side eateries- this is a nice break.

Really great spot to visit, lots of shops cafe's bars and cinema's To a fist timer in Norwich the car park appears free, it's busy and you race to get a spot. I managed to ( Christmas time ) but missed the signs saying there is a restriction! I went off to enjoy shopping then a nice meal afterwards and... More
