From Cow Tower, past Bishops Gate Bridge (stopping by the Adam & Eve pub) the walk past Pull's Ferry and nearby Cathedral and ending up at a riverside pub for a final drink and meal is an ideal way to spend a leisurely day.

A lovely walk, starting at the Compleat Angler on the bridge opposite the rail station. Coninue past the back of the Cathedral, past the Bishops' Bridge, where the Red Lion serves great pizza, and onto the Adam & Eve, Norwich's oldest pub. guessed the theme yet?

The opportunity to use and capture the area for families to eat and relaxed has been missed. The restaurants should have been built back from the water so that the public can stroll along and take in the views or sit on the bank to enjoy drinks and food. Not everyone wants to walk through a busy pub or restaurant... More

Perfect walk for a sightseeing tour of Norwich. Many places of interest on the way and many benches to take time and digest what you see.

This is such a lovely walk along the riverside. It has lots of history and will eventually bring you out to The Red Lion pub which is very quaint and worth stopping at.

Norwich is a lovely city, both historic and modern, even in the city there are some lovely quiet areas near the Cathederal, with Bars & Restaurats etc, generally flay but some hilly areas, but nothing too much. The riverside walks are really lovely, passing pubs like the Red Lion near Bishops Bridge, (Traditional pub with real ales and traditional food).... More

We were staying at Fishergate. We had a morning to spare before catching the train. We had a very nice and relaxing walk along the riverside - very quiet. We cut back to Norwich City Centre by the Cathedral.

A great spot to walk and take in some of the wonderful scenery that Norwich has to offer. As someone has mentioned, ensure that you complete your walk before dusk as the gates are locked after this!

Part of the walk is away from the river bank, and access to the riverside walk is not possible after dusk.
