We came across the riverside walk totally by accident and what a pleasure it was. On a sunny afternoon we followed the footpath taking advantage of the glimpses of the cathedral. I'd love to visit again.

Well worth a walk behind the ancient buildings (Quayside) and along the picturesque Wensum river. You get to view the towering St James Mill across the river and then walk down Bishopgate pas the Great Hospital to the Cathedral.

Staying in a hotel nearby, we walked along the Riverside walk. A very pleasant setting, with lovely views along the river, as well as a wide selection of chain and independent restaurants and public houses.

Well worth a walk along the river, which is so near to the city centre. The footpaths are in good condition and there are some lovely and interesting sights along the way such as the `Cow Tower`, which was used to mounts cannons.

We used the river walk more than once on our trip. It was a lovely, quiet way to circumnavigate Norwich. There are plenty of places to hop off for a drink and a few historic sites to explore on the way down. Great views of the Cathedral as well for the photographers.

Tranquil beautiful scenery and history to indulge in. Not nice to see people boozing but river police got off boats to sort it.

I take this walk quite often & it's beautiful, no matter what the weather. It's been great to see the ducklings too. There is different views of the cathedral, plus other spots like pull's ferry. There's a cute pub along the way & many benches for sitting. I'd recommend this for anyone looking for a quiet escape from the city.

It's great to be a tourist in Norwich and this walk is fabulous. It's picturesque, interesting and was pretty quiet the day we walked through it. We met some lovely people too including a knowledgeable community policeman and a young lady who directed us to the lovely Adam & Eve pub for lunch.
