A really pleasant stroll after dinner to get back to our hotel. There are things to see along the way (historic bits, artworks etc) as well as the river itself. It felt safe, which was surprising given how removed from the town it is.

On leaving the Station we crossed the road and walked along the Riverside Walk on the bank of the River Yare and opposite the Yacht Station. It was a lovely morning... More

Well worth the effort. This part of Norwich is so quaint and makes you feel as though you've gone back in time. There is a lot of new buildings but the walk itself takes you along the peaceful part of the river.

A really lovely place to take friends/family on a sunny day and have a picnic. There are a couple of pubs on route where you can stop for a drink with a nice view of the river too.

Norwich is such a beautiful city. From it's 1000 year old Cathedral to it's Norman Castle. One of our favourite things to do is to walk along the river. A lot of history and very romantic. Worth the effort!
