A nice quiet riverside walk to enjoy views of the Cathedral and river with the opportunity to stop for lunch in one of the bars or restaurants

A great way to see the old and new parts of the City from the Riverside complex to Cow Tower and Pulls Ferry

I used to love walking here with the children; feeding the ducks, looking at the old buildings, watching the boats. You can deviate from this path to the Cathedral to visit, Zaks American Diner for some lunch, or the city to the shops.Peaceful way to spend a few hours.Nice for couples too.

We often do the Riverside Walk if we have friends staying with us. It is a very pleasant way to show them Norwich from a different aspect. You can intersperse the walk by deviating to visit other places such as Norwich Cathedral, Elm Hill etc and then pick it up again to carry on. It is interesting to see the... More

Just take your time and look around you, bring the guide book with you - and you can really travel back in time and see Norwich at a distance.

We do this walk at least once a week, it's so pretty with plenty to see including feeding the ducks if you want to. You can extend or shorten this walk as there are several points to alter the length if it? All on firm ground so you can take pushchairs and wheelchairs.

We chose this walk due to the reviews already posted on Tripadvisor and so pleased we did. This an ideal stroll to take at any time but, for me, particularly nice early in the morning after a really hearty breakfast. The sights along the way are really interesting including the old and the new buildings. There are numerous places to... More

Peaceful, lovely dragon flies and damsel flies even in October, Autumn colour and lots of birds. Good access via boardwalks through mysterious bog land, how did our ancestors manage to live in these ecosystems? Colourful boats (not sure of the correct title as we are land lubbers), but I am slightly envious!

On a brisk but comfortable Norwich morning our host took us for the Riverside Walk alongside the River Yare. It is such a scenic walk with lots of interesting landmarks and views along the way; we stopped at Cow Tower and then at Pulls Ferry for photostops. It is incredible the way Norwich Cathedral dominates the skyline forming a really... More
