A clean river with a nice path running alongside. Lovely views. Recommended as a break from shopping

Outstanding for a city centre walk. There is access upstream from the river bank behind Carrow Road football ground to the western outskirts of the city. The Riverside walk connects (with one short diversion away from the river) to the Marriotts Way at a bridge near the Halfords superstore (where the A147 St Crispins Rd crosses the River Wensum). Just a great walk along the river ... very restful ... yet in the middle of a city. Walked from the Cathedral round to Pulls Ferry. Great views, a lovely gentle stroll ... then a short walk into centre for lunch!

We are very lucky to live half way round the Norwich riverside walk. Beautiful to waklk of an evening, a weekend - to cycle or run round. Take some bread, there is always some wild fowl to feed - swans, duck, Canada or Egytian Geese......and lately all their babies too

We started our walk at the railway station, and were impressed by how quickly we were in a peaceful, pretty environment. We could see across the grounds of Norwich School towards the cathedral, and having seen Cow Tower we turned off the path to reach the cathedral. On another day, we walked another stretch of the river to see Dragon... More

Despite having got lost, this was a lovely walk along this beautifully kept river. Water always has a soothing effect even when you don`t know where you`re going to finish up. Wear comfortable shoes ! it`s not a short walk

On a walk around Norwich we dropped down onto the Riverside walk for a short distance. This was lovely but unfortunately, had over stayed our visit to Norwich so could walk any further, but highly recommend this to anyone who had half a day or so.

Lovely quiet walk along the river, which also leads on to the cathedrals gardens which are just as nice.

Quite a surprise to walk along side the river, tend to forget it is there when shopping at riverside. Can walk for quite a while and see the area from a totally different view and even though main roads are close by it is surprisingly peaceful.

For a pleasant way of spending an evening you can't beat a good stroll along the riverside. Taking this route you will pass many of the attractions. Unfortunately it appears to be partially closed at present but I still enjoyed wandering around with my camera as it is a beautiful area.
