It may not be a huge museum but there is a lot to read and see here. Having a 14 & 12 year old they certainly appreciated all the hands on interactive exhibits. Came away having learnt a lot about Norwich.

Visited today and spent a remarkable couple of hours looking, reading everything, watching videos, listening to stories. I love Norwich and this museum took me through a journey of its history. It has made me want to go out to other places in and around the city to explore even more. Thanks to everyone who has done such a terrific... More

I love how this museum has been revamped leaving it with an old feel, but very modern in style at the same time. It gives a good history of Norwich and the staff were excellent.

I had not been to this museum for many years and was pleasantly surprised by the way it has been re-designed. The lay out is excellent with clear information and interesting exhibits. I was particularly impressed with the section on the fabrics which used to be produced locally and the Norwich shawls. Nice little gift shop and very pleasant staff.... More

I haven't visited the Bridewell Museum in nearly twenty years and I'm sad that I left it so long. I cannot recommend this museum enough. The museum is laid out over two floors and catalogues the growth of Norwich from it's Norman days, through the textiles boom all the way to current day. There is a wealth of information and... More

We spent about 2 hours here and it was fascinating. Do take the time to read the information, pull out the drawers and look at all the displays. Also a nice little gift shop with very friendly staff.

We had time constraints so spent about 1 hour at Bridewell. I could have spent longer because it was very interesting to read about the history of Norwich. The museum is small but well done.

We thought we'd spend half an hour in there and struggled to get it all done in 1 hour. An hour is enough though so get in there at 3.30pm and spend £1 for an hour before closing.

Not sure where everyone was but on a bank holiday weekend Saturday during a half term it was absolutely deserted and I've got no idea why. I took my two daughters around it and we easily wasted 2 hours wandering about. You have to take the time to be interested but then you wouldn't be there if you weren't in... More

My children and I love this local museum. Crammed full of history and interesting things from Norfolk. We spend a couple of hours in here each time and always find out something new. They also do fun crafts and activities at certain times of the year. Good, clean facilities and a nice gift shop.
