Best butcher in London

It's pretty pricey but definitely worth it. If it's a special occasion, I don't buy my meat from anywhere else. Without fail it's always incredible.

I've bought meat from these people in the past and it was better than some but not a patch on Barcecoa or my local butchers Brace of Butchers. I could still have spent money with them but for my last experience. I was bought a butchery course token. When I first tried to use it there were no courses running... More

I went to the Ginger Pig in Moxon Street and I asked the guy - a Romanian - if he could grind some meat: beef plus pork altogether. Reluctantly, he made a big deal about the fact that he couldn't do that because they are not allowed to mince meat together. Well, I explained to him - who apparently lacks... More

This butcher was literally 50 steps from where I lived in London and I hit the jackpot. This place is sensational. Both the meat from the butcher and anything from the deli. The bacon is to die for as are the pork sausages. They make their own sausage rolls with a variety of different flavours and each day they also... More

Just a short walk from gold hawk road, this glorious butchers has a vast selection of fantastic meats (I've got it from good sources that the burgers are used by honest burger) and the foods on sale like the scotch eggs and sausage rolls were good enough to induce tears!

A fabulous butcher and great place to grab a takeaway lunch. The daily roasts are a favourite as are the selection of take home and picnic pies. Simply great quality and superb value.

located in moxon street off marylebone high street, a must visit place to stock up on meat of all types, mostly sourced from the company's own yorkshire farms - the beef, especially the forerib, is outstanding and quite reasonably-priced considering the incredible marbling & length of hanging. next door is the cooked food section, and i would recommend their plump,... The sausage rolls here are a hangover lifesaver. There's one called a Full English with sausage meat mashed up with beans bacon and mushrooms. Sublimely greedy and porkily delicious. I do feel a little judged by the suckling pigs in the window. They frown at me and I don't blame them. Still, if we're not supposed to eat them, why... More

I was bought the butchery course for Christmas but took a while to get round to use it. Had I known it would be such fun I'd have done it sooner and I'll definitely be back to do one of the other courses at least. I decided to do the lamb course and wasn't disappointed. Borat and Perry are a... More

If you've never had a sausage roll, go to Ginger Pig. If you have had a sausage roll, go to Ginger Pig. These are not your bread filled, pale coloured meat sausage rolls. This relative bargain is composed of delicious flaky pastry and lots of perfectly seasoned pork mince. The only downside is they sell out of them. A real... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
