It is an indoor antique market with several selers and many different things . Outside the indoor market there is a little street market also nice . If you go, plan something else because you won't take longer. É um mercado de antiquidades indoor com muitos vendedores e coisas diferentes .Fora do mercado de antiquidades há uma feira de coisas... First visit here was years ago, so thought a return trip was in order. Really interesting place - huge range of 'stuff' & all sorts of prices. Beautiful vintage jewellery, striking glassware, china you remember your grandmother having, likewise ornaments. Rooftop cafe which from experience is fun in summer & very reasonably priced. Stallholders we spoke to were all lovely... More

A strange mish mash of old, chic and retro merchandise. Not really an antique emporium. There was the odd vendor selling antiques but very few of the sellers advertised the price. This puts me of shopping if I can not see the price. I can not ask the price of every item that I fancy buying. The building is a... More

Antiques? Maybe the jewellery & glassware. The furniture is largely retro. Very disappointed. Best bit was the Roof Top cafe - lovely scone, cream & jam! But which do you put on first - the jam or cream? I'm told it depends on which county you're in.........

Such an eclectic and quirky place, full of small staircases, nooks and crannies and hidden little shops, a delight! One of the best things is that is not full of tourists and cheap souvenirs of this beautiful city. The cafe' on the top floor is a simple with a few dishes and sweet treats at a normal price. The terrace... More

We spent Saturday morning shopping this cool and kitschy place. Amazing mid-century modern pieces, if you live in England and are furnishing a place. Found some great gifts and smalls that fit in my suitcase.

Went on a hot day, so got to see all the dealers sweltering. Some funky stuff and a whole lot of overpriced junk. So much more to see and do in the city.

In Time Out magazine, it does say "The prices are a bit steep". Wow, that is some understatement. This place is so overpriced the dealers bordered on greedy. I questioned one stall holder as to why she felt that something was worth what she wanted for it, in the full knowledge of what I was looking at. Her reply, (after... More

Alfies is wonderful collection of dealer stores - a massive range of antique and vintage items from glassware to clothes, lighting to jewelry. The Roof Top Restaurant is a good half way stop if you need some sustenance. Somewhat nerve wracking with kids in certain parts, but dealers all pleasantly relaxed and engaging.
