Went here last year for ice skating with my partner. It is the nicest place to go ice skating in London as it's got nice surroundings. Reasonably priced as well! Evenings are nice as it's all lit up

Great music and in the evening there's less people and more importantly less little children so you can go for a few laps or learn in the smaller area without holding back you might fall on an innocent human being. There's also an indoor food area right next to the rink which is operated by Tom's, so can have a... More

Lovely, good quality rink. Cleaned after every session. I visited in late November and the price was £10.50 with skate hire. Price changes according to date, so get a bargain and go early. Went in the daytime but bet it would be lovely at night, though maybe busier. More Christmassy music would be nice, but maybe they are saving this... More

Friends and I spend Sunday morning here last week, before returning home from a girlie weekend. We were pleasantly surprised, and spend a good 4 hours here enjoying the ambiance, eateries and especially the little gem of Fortnum and Mason's shopping experience. Having enjoyed walking around the various Fornums' themed rooms, we then spent a pretty penny amassing pressies for... More

Decided to book the ice skating for a friends birthday and I have to say we wasn't disappointed.. WOW only word that sums it up, not only is the setting beautiful, it's been decorated so lovely and feels Christmassy. It is well organised, the people are friendly, chatty and so helpful. The rink is not over crowded, marshals are there... More

I would definitely go back here. I have been to the ice rinks at the Natural History Museum, Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park and Tower Hill and they offer amazing atmosphere but this one is probably the best. It is truly like a scene from a Christmas movie. The tickets are not that cheap but worthy it. It is very... More

This was fabulous. A mulled wine and then we went on the ice. It is really well organised, a beautiful tree, a magical setting. We had 45 minutes on the ice. It isn't romantic unless you can skate. I spent a lot of the time waving my arms around to balance. Lots of fun and a great thing to do... More

We had hot chocolate in Fortnum & Mason's Apres-Ski alpine lodge. It was really magical. On the tables were oranges and walnuts. They also gave us a little box of Champagne truffles for free because they were busy as the service was a bit slow. One recommendation would be to prebook for iceskating. The staff were really friendly.

How inspiring is to be able to skate inside the yard of such building like Somerset house, with lights effects, giant Christmas tree and perfect ice it's an amazing experience.

We took our granddaughters here last year. It was fantastic and they had a great time. Very busy and I would recommend anyone to go, all the families were having lots of fun. I suggest if you want to go, book early. There are staff on the ice if people get into difficulties or fall over. Not too expensive for... More
