I used to love this place. Not only because of the amazing selcetion of beer they had on tap, but for its lovely vibe and friendly staff. But everything has changed during last year. I never thought change of manager can make so much difference and there you go! The Ivy House was a good pub for drinking good craft... More

Fantastic decor internally, with a real community feel. beer was excellent (served flat, like real ale should be in this reviewer's opinion). Last (but by NO means least) the food was excellent, clearly a lot of effort has been put into presenting good home made food, well balanced and thoughtfully presented and all at a reasonable price. What's not to... More

Not having been to The Ivy House since it's Houdini escape from the hands of would-be house developers, Poppy and Banjo popped around to offer their best wishes. The previously tired looking community centre feel has made way to a far more coherent space. Good beers on tape and above norm fare. The decor is still confused, looking for an... More

Booked a table for 4 and had to wait 20mins after arriving on time sent to the small bar area and never offered a drink. Service at meal was good and meal average but I would go again and hope that the staff taking you to your seats improve customer service and online bookings

South East London is some sort of heaven for beer nerds because of its amazing craft beer pubs. The Ivy House is one of those amazing craft beer pubs, and in fact I would say it is the best one! However, the food is bad... I mead 'bad.' So it is better to not eat there but try all the... More

We had a good and reasonably priced Sunday lunch here. There's a good selection of real ales and wine. The pub has a real 1920s/30s feel and has three large rooms, one with a stage. While we were there a jazz band and singer started playing. It was a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon and I much prefer... More

Love this pub, the idea, atmosphere and events are great but the food is a big let down. A group of us went for a Sunday roast and we received 1 half of a potato each, we asked for more and received half of a half potato. I know this could sound finicky but for £10 the servings need to... More
