You would be crazy to miss the experience of Open Aitr Theatre whether you live in London or are thinking what to do in London that you've never done before. Apart from a very well put together variation of musical theatre, discreet concert pieces, Shakespeare and drama. There is a good selection of barbeque food and beverages for a pre-theatre... More

If you stand, they have a large cover to poke your head through in case it rains xD. There might be some actors that run between the stalls too! We sat on the seats, they are very hard after a while :/ Also do not sit there if you are afraid of heights, it's quite steep.

Pray it does not rain This is a most wonderful setting to see a play especially when sky starts to get dark & lights twinkle in trees Food a bit pricy but you may bring your own picnic

I grew up going to the Open air Theatre in Regents Park as it was on my doorstep. Now 55 years on I am still going and thoroughly enjoying it. Go prepared for all weathers - and take a blanket to go over you during the autumn evenings But the whole experience never fails you.

I am a big support of outdoor theatre- working at a summer festival in Wales, and volunteering at the Globe in London. This theatre is amazing- an auditorium in the middle of a wonderful park setting, in London, what's not to like? Each season includes a number of plays, usually with a musical, a family show, a contemporary/20th century show... More

I have seen numerous performances here. Always great. Food is quite nice too if a little over-priced.

I went three times and enjoyed every time. In summer, in Autumn. I was with friends and in this relaxed open space watching a performance really is fun.

We love to watch at least one production in this wonderful open air theatre each summer. This year we took the children to see Peter Pan which was amazing.Take a stroll through the rose garden in the beautiful regents Park, settle down for a picnic then enjoy open air theatre. Love it.
