I love this theatre; it's small enough so you don't feel overwhelmed but large enough for the shows it holds. ..One of my hip theatres...
We saw "Red Velvet" here a couple of nights ago. Adrian Lester, the cast and production team were fantastic. We were in the stalls. The seats were comfortable enough, and it looked as if every seat (at least in the stalls) should afford a good view of the stage. Like the previous reviewer we did not know about the Goat... More
I, too, saw Red Velvet at this lovely theatre. It's a wonderful production. Adrian Lester is superb. Most forward facing seats seem to have a good view, especially row H where we were seated. Not sure about the slip seats, though. However, they do have arms. Very small Ladies loo, where washing and drying hands, at a busy time is... More
This is a lovely little theatre and cinema in the midst of Kilburn. Lovely shows on - we saw Red Velvet and i have also book dot see Nina Conti. Seats are covered bench style and not very comfy but views are great.
Just one of those spontaneous days; saw a review in the paper for 'Once a Catholic,' a romp though the school year of three fifth formers at a north London girls school run by Nuns, and booked for the matinee that same day. Rollicking fun! The location was, for us country people, almost just as entertaining. Well known on the... More
LOVE the atmosphere, Loved the quality of the play (Handbagged by Moira Buffini), love the seating - our view was awesome (front row balcony). Love the cake and wine served at interval. Would have loved to sit down for a Carribean cuisine meal, had I known about it before hand! Theatre is easy to get to and I'll be visiting... More
Earlier this evening I had the absolute pleasure of seeing Handbagged at the Tricycle. The venue is cozy and intimate which helps to create a sense of awe about the play and the actors. The play was amazing and as part of the thrill of the play is that the actors break the fourth wall regularly, this theatre is the... More
My negative experience happened a couple of years ago, and I'm writing because a friend had a similar experience just happened. I had an Orange mobile phone which sent me Orange Wednesday Cinema 2fer1 Specials. My friend took a day off from work and we decided to see whatever was playing. We determined on the web ahead of time that... More
The Tricycle theatre situated on the Edgware Road in Kilburn. Parking is difficult outside, but there are many side streets nearby where restrictions are mostly lifted at 6.30pm. The play 'A Boy and His Soul' , written and performed by Colman Domingo was fantastic. The name Colman Domingo is one to watch out for. The one man show, followed the... More
