Came here for a night out bowling for my birthday with 6 friends. After waiting for 30 minutes to get to our lane and sort out shoes because the staff were far to busy chatting amongst themselves to bother serving the queue of customers we got on with the game at hand. Everything was great untill the lane jammed and... More

I went with with my sons for skating today the place was packed with people but nicely managed, the staff were very helpful and pleasant, the fee was a bit costly £13.00 for a child and £13.50 for an adult plus £5.00 for child aiding penguin for a 30 minute session. But it was still worth going as there was... More

I had my daughters' 7th birthday party here yesterday - (on a Sunday in Half Term) and I cannot praise the place enough. All of the staff from reception to food service, to bar were super friendly, well trained and very efficient. They really know their job - are well versed on child safety - I really thought they were... More

I have skated at several ice rinks but didn't enjoy my experience here. For a start, the rink is underground so there is no natural light. The ice was really bumpy and difficult to skate on too. However, I thought that these were relatively minor problems. My main complaint was that I found the staff there to be really unhelpful.... More

I made a booking online for bowling and was given time slot 18:20 - 18:40, got there at 18:27 and was told I was not allowed in as the door were closed! When booking online I was NOT told about door closing times and when I called earlier in the day to check what time it closes I was told... More

During my trip to London I visited Queens Ice and Bowl on a Wednesday evening. It was easy accessible for us because we were sleeping next to the big station King’s Cross. After just 10 minutes by tube we were already there. If you are a young adult who is looking for a nice place to spent your evening then... More

We waited hours to have a line even if there were free lines to play. We got only one game and then we had to leave because the place was closing. The mechanism was faulty and the balls were smashed . NO seating around the line and too many loud teenagers. Not impressed.. not to mention the state of the... More

My boyfriend and I popped in here one night to have a look around and decided we'd have a proper night out the following weekend. We weren't disappointed! As well as ice skating and bowling, there's pool tables and amusements. Unfortunately we didn't think to pre-book bowling and when we arrived the staff said it'd be a couple of hours... More

When I read other reviews I was concerned that the venue had deteriorated. However all is well. The ice was in good condition and was not crowded at half term. The staff were very friendly and and helpful. The ladies toilets were clean. The skates for hire were adequate. The food was good for what was available. We prebooked private... More

On Wednesday 21st May at 6pm we arrived at this establishment, we were recommended by the receptionist to wait until 7pm and join the class (7-8). My friend and I were really looking forward to learn how to skate properly and no longer look like fools on the ice. After wasting the first 15 mins, of time we paid for... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
