it's a must to visit if you like old power station's and iconic buildings. unfortunately it is not open to the public which is such a shame. it is a fabulous building and it domineres the skyline. it has a kind of spooky feel to it but that is part of it's magic. well worth a visit if you like...

I have always loved Battersea Power Station! I find this brick building very beautiful, it is also iconic, being on a Pink Floyd LP cover, it has also been shot in Doctor Who :)

This is very impressive building, and the district around it allow you to dive into slice of life, not just as tourist's usual paths. I recommend it to all who love industrial landscapes and tired from attractions for foreigners.

We passed by the power station on a train ride from Waterloo Station to Southalpton.
I had to take a picture since it a familiar landmark due to the cover of the Pink Floyd Album from 1977 "animals".

Battersea Power Station is cool, but it's not open to the public very often. The occasional tour or event in the grounds (all run by different people every time, frustratingly) is the nearest you're going to get which is a terrible shame because it's a stunning building.
