If you have children , you will have fun.It is very quiet by the river Thames. On Sunday there were little mobile shops selling delicious foods. It is amazing if you get there walking throught the river path wherever you arrived.I started near Staveley Road to Hammersmith to Putney Bridge. One hour.Easier getting there from hammersmith.Just turn left as soon as you exit... Can take a nice stroll or bike ride by the river here and my son enjoyed the kids play area and sand. There is ment to be a water feature but it wasn't working which was a shame! Good if your local but maybe not worth a long journey

Bishop's Park is absolutely lovely. Even if you haven't got kids to keep an eye on, it's great to just chill out in the "Picnic area" where you can watch the ducks on the pond and soak up the lovely atmosphere. Or have a coffee in the cafe. If you have kids then they will LOVE this place even more... More

My daughter lives close to the park , I love going jogging in the park . There is something for everyone and today with the weather "cracking the flags " every inch of the park was buzzing , no more that the newly furnished kiddies play areas . Today they were packed , kids and big kids love parks the... More

This park is a delight if one is already in the west London area. Not worth a trek from the other side of town, but nice if you are nearby. There is an area designated as dog-free, which is a good thing. Good place for a picnic. More historical parts around the palace itself. Nice riverside setting.

In June we stayed with our daughter who is living in Putney and were kept very busy going off to visit castles, museums, art galleries and taking in the many sights London has to offer. On many occassions we would cross Putney bridge on the way to the tube and often thought it would be nice to visit the park... More

This was one of the highlights of our trip. It was such a pretty, green, peaceful place. There were tame squirrels that my daughter fed by hand - she was thrilled!

Great park, 5 min walk from Putney bridge tube and the whole park is along the river Thames so you can walk along a lovely riverside path to get to the cafe and playgrounds. Baby loved the swings for young ones and was not so keen on her first try at paddling pools but there were loads of kids loving... More
