We ordered our food at the bar and we were served very quickly. When the food arrived it was well presented and very hot, not luke... More

Great selection of reasonable priced food and drink without paying silly Central London prices. The Mulled Cider was very welcome on a cold day as was the burgers. The pub get very busy but worth a visit.

I find myself coming here quite a lot when I'm in London, though I'm not sure why! I suppose it has a perfect location in Leicester Square. It tends to have a rowdy clientele and there is not a particularly nice atmosphere. If you like the Weatherspoons food then this will fit the bill though I find it a bit... More

There are a few pubs with this name (which come from literature), but the one I am reviewing is the Wetherspoons pub in Leicester Square, London. Leicester Square pubs and restaurants have come down in price in recent years, but are still quite expensive. It is amazing that The Moon Under Water pub can be so reasonably priced, yet it... More

Went for a drink around 11am and Jennifer the bar tender was lovely and friendly with good service. So much so that I am writing this whilst still drinking my gin!

If you have been in a Wetherspoons before then I won't bore you with what you get for your money, needless to say this place is in a great location, the staff and patrons all seem friendly and the beer is on point , served well and you have a great choice on offer at prices which are much lower... We had several meals at this pub taking advantage of the meal specials. On most occasions the pub was busy. Nevertheless our orders were not long in coming and of good quality. Seating can be a big hard to find but if you are patient enough a table soon becomes available.

Good location in the heart of Leicester Square, not usual wetherspoons prices however, did eat here, tables we're busy and room by the bar was limited and pretty cramped. Bar service was slow, barman seemed confused by two beers.

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
