As a frequent visitor to the Manchester Comedy store at Deansgate Locks, I booked tickets for the London venue. A real mistake as it turned out - the 2 experiences could not be more different. The unreserved seating was a shambles, one guy running round trying to find seats for people, the food quality considering the simple offer was appalling,... More

Having experienced the other comedy clubs in the area this is by far the best venue as more spacious,... More

Went here on a Tuesday as there was more than one act on. Unfortunately we were seated by a member of staff,- at the front- . Yep we got it and more, but all in good humour, we had a fantastic night and really enjoyed ourselves immensely. Comedians were great fun, was a couple of cringey moments but that's to... More

I went to the world famous comedy store on Monday night for the "Gong Show". This is where young and aspiring comics come to try and beat the gong by performing 5 minutes of comedy. I went for the comedy but unfortunately I barely got to see any. Some of the acts were clearly very new and the crowd lost... More

We had booked for a Saturday night. We had never been before, and we got there half an hour early to get seats at the back .. we had been warned that if we were at the front, we'd be part of it ( didnt fancy that ) When we got there, there were lots of seats empty, but they... More

Went to London for my birthday weekend. Usually do the Comedy Store either Friday night or Improvisation night on a Sunday. Great comedians, good location, relaxing night. Get there at 6:30 if you want to pick your seat. Get there at 7:15 and you could end up on the front row. We did once. We got away with it compared... More

We went to the best of stand up on a Saturday night. Was absolutely hilarious, Sean Meo was mc and he alone was great. Great banter between front row (thankfully I wasnt in front row) and comedians. I'd recommend trying this out. I'm not normally a chap who finds comedians all to funny but the atmosphere was electric and that... More

This was our second visit to the Comedy Store....and yet again, we were not disappointed. The Geordie compare was very funny ( a bit close to the bone at times...but what do you expect?) 5 very funny acts during the show, so definitely good value for money. Would not hesitate to go back.
