Facinating tour by a guide who clearly knew the subject inside out The only criticism I could make is that on occasion the guide was distracted by things happening around and it would have been better had we visited all the locations where the murders took place ( re developments permitting) rather than just being told where they happened The... Be sure to tour with London Walks. There were other tours happening at the same time, but their laughter and sensationalism were disturbing, given the terrible plight of the women at the time. We were given a good overall feel for the way of life during the Ripper's era and found ourselves sympathetic to the untenable and vulnerable situations that... More

Walking around certain parts of London, at night, with a very knowledgeable Jack the Ripper guide. Eerie? you bet, but it was great! Our guide, Richard #3 painted a very precise picture of what and how London was during this time, even walked us to a couple of areas where the victims were found. I would definitely take another London... More

We didn't know anything about the ripper history other than he killed a few prostitutes. Unfortunately we didn't know how horrifically he killed them and what he did to the bodies. The american lady guide was very graphic in her explanations....so much so that we felt sick and left half way through the tour. The tour guide knew what she... More

I took this tour in Spanish so that my mother would be able to enjoy it, as her English is limited. So first off it was a little difficult to find the guide (had to go through 2 people to find it). The tour itself was very laid back, but to me it started off slow. The guide (Manel) gave... More

First we opted for the bus tour, but it was fully booked for the dates we wanted. Then Google gave me the link for this company. Tower Hill tube station, 7.30, every evening. I was trying to be near the guide, but even when I wasn't I heard him speaking clearly. We heard a lot of information, well presented, very... More

This walking tour was excellent. The tour guide was very informative and we learned heaps, not just about Jack the Ripper but London itself. I would recommend to do this early on your holiday so you could go back and see some of the places at your leisure

Lovely presentation by our guide , a male on 23 rd September 2014 in the evening from tower hill station. He took a personal interest in the story and also created special effects for the same. He nearly solved the mystery. Keep it up.

I took this tour on a lovely evening in September while visiting London. I choose to go with this specific company as a leading Ripper expert, Donald, does the tour on specific days. Although I did not end up with Donald, the tour was still great. The tour begins at a Tower Hill Tube Station. This station is currently under... More

This was an excellent walk with a very knowledgeable guide. Even though the old east end is mostly gone she still recreated the scenes in our imaginations and we see pubs, gas lamps, squares and lanes where the murders occurred. Make sure you do the walk in the dark !
