This walk was awesome, education, and compelling. We walked around and heard the gruesome details and mystery of the Jack the Ripper case, and the tour guides were fun, knowledgable, and very entertaining.

Our guide, Rex, gave us an excellent more than 2.5 hrs tour of the Tower Hill/Aldgate/Spitalfields are, pointing out to some Ripper murder sites but, more importantly, showing us how life in London must have been in the late 1800s. He focused on the victims, their unfortunate lives and the general socio-economic context, which made the tour more than just... More

We look the Jack the Ripper walking tour with Donald Rumbelow last week. He is extremely knowledgeable. He had written a book on the subject. He was very courteous to the entire large group. He made sure folks with issues: walking, & hearing were front and center for each stop. He spoke loud, clear and we never had a problem... More

We selected this tour primarily because of the guide, Donald Rumbelow. He is an expert on the topic for certain. The tour was interesting and included several tidbits of information about Jack the Ripper. Two things kept the tour from being Very Good. First, it was a very large group that night, maybe 70 people. Second, Mr. Rumbelow on multiple... More

Our guide Steve did a great job with our group. He's a good storyteller that made it an interesting walk. It's not really a 'sightseeing' tour but it is kind of fun to walk around the dark streets with someone evoking images of London in the 1880s. Be forewarned, the tour ends and you are directed to the nearest tube... More

I'd wanted to do a Jack the Ripper tour for a while and this one sounded the best. It was good but I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it. Of course, so much of East London was destroyed during the war that most of the street layouts have changed, plus buildings and locations have of course been... More

The stories are of course morbid and scary....but that's one of the reasons you are doing this tour, right?! It's one thing to hear stories, but another to actually be in the places where all of these things happened. Really interesting and would recommend!

This tour was lovely, the guide, Donald Rumbelow, was very knowledgable on Jack the Ripper (obviously, he had written a book!). We did a lot of walking (obviously) and he stopped at the significant parts (some directly related, others not). He did a great job in painting the scene of London in 1888, as everything has changed so much. Definitely... More

Great night out. Almost as great as a going to a show, but while standing and walking instead of sitting. £9 for adults. £7 for children.

This was one of the only organized tours we did in London (aside from the Tower of London). As soon as I heard about this I wanted to go, and was not disappointed. Took a bus to where we needed to get to and then walked throughout the highlights of Jack the Ripper's exploits. Great story, great guide. What made... More
