Loved taking this cruise down the Thames. The guide was very humorous and had a lot of good information. It was cool seeing the city from the water, and a bonus was NO traffic! we got some amazing photos while out on the water. More

Nice clean boat with plenty of seats and not too expensive. I got the boat from Westminster to Greenwich with lovely views up the river However dont expect a very good commentary as they only speak English, the speaker system is rubbish so you cant hear them from the back, and most of the time the guy spent telling jokes... We received free tickets while booking our hotel. This meant for us that the trip was excellent value, but if i would've spent money on it I would rather have a nice starter in a restaurant. We boarded the boat after our tower of London tour. There is a pier right there. We road one way getting off at Westminster pier. It was an excellent view of the bridges and key buildings along the river and brought us right to our next place we wanted to visit. Big Ben and the Abbey. More

We used City Cruises with the 2for1 tickets - cost £19 for two adults for the HOHO tour from Westminster to Greenwich. This allowed us to get off along the way at Greenwich & Tower of London and walk round the surrounding areas then board the boat again upriver for our final destination at the end of the day the... Easy to book online, helpful and informative website. The trip itself was great fun. The boat was warm and comfortable (it was so cold we didn't go up on deck) and we enjoyed a picnic whilst watching the sights. Good commentary from the crew and friendly helpful staff.
