A walk along Regents Canal is always a delight. Take a break at Primrose Hill and enjoy the view over the city with its fascinating architecture.

We always make the effort to take this walk whenever we're back to London. The section we walk is kind of short - from Camden Lock to Regent's Park, near the zoo - it takes around 20 minutes. After browsing in the hustle and bustle of Camden market, getting some rest at the gorgeous Regent's park should be a must.... More

Whenever I visit London, I make every effort to walk from Camden Market tube to Warwick Avenue tube. The ideal start is an hour wandering around Camden Market, perhaps having a coffee before setting off to walk the canal through to Little Venice. So few visitors are aware that after approximately half a mile, the sound of the city has... More

... after visiting Camden, I propose to walk along this canal... Quite for having time to have a break after the noise and the people in Camden town... Till Euston and St-Pancras, the time to speak about the life, the trip and to look for the wildnature which find a little place to stay...

I've spent a few days walking in either direction along Regents Canal, and found it to be a beautiful and quiet area to explore. Walking past the zoo, Regents Park, Little Venice, and of course, the stunning array of narrowboats, all the way to Camden Lock, grabbing some lunch at the Camden Markets, then slowly wandering back again, was a... Apparently this place is hard to get to from the rest of London, and so it's not on many people's to-do list. However, if you have already "been there and done" all of the touristy stuff in London, I would greatly recommend a walk through this Canal. We walked from my friend's flat in Islington and it was about 20... More

This is the first I have walked part of the Regents Canal on a lovely warm sunny day. On this occasion I joined the canal walk near Lords cricket ground and headed east towards Camden Lock. This is arguably the most scenic part of the walk with some fantastic old houses on your right and it was enhanced by the... More

The canal between Litle Venice and Camden ids a great getaway. It feels like you are in the country or maybe in another time but it is easy to step back into London and get drinks, have a meal or just sit and let the water and the boats float by

With two friends I walked from Limehouse Basin to Paddington on a pleasant day. We arrived at our starting point via the DLR and retuned to East London from Paddington on the Hammersmith & City Line and Greater Anglia from Liverpool Street despite the Underground strike taking place. I am not an experienced walker but the total for the day... More
