We very much enjoyed this tour. If you take the Red Line, you can plug in and hear the commentary in one of 8 different languages. The commentary is very good and offers interesting local and historical tidbits of information. The ticket includes unlimited hop-on/hop-off rides on any of 5 circuits for a full day. If you purchase online, you... More

The staff and drivers were very informative and courteous. Hopping on and off was easy. The buses were frequent enough.

All very nice and well organized, but the description of the points of interest too short. Experience recommended.

The bus tour is a great way to see the sites but it was a nice bonus to get the river tour on the Thames! We took the boat to Greenwich which was an unplanned but fun site to see on our trip. I highly recommend this tour!

We were very excited to visit London for a day and knew that the double decker busses originated here. So we looked forward to a city overview with your company and planned our entire day around it. However, we did not get to experience this tour at all because there was a taxi cab strike and all ground transportation was... More

The buses are clean, the tour routes cover the entire city and outskirts, and the drivers and guides were knowledgeable and as friendly and helpful as any I have encountered. I will definitely use this tour bus company if I am in London again.

We had just attended Easter service at St. Paul’s Cathedral and lunch with a friend who lived in London. It was 2:00pm and taking the hop on hop off buses across the road looked mighty attractive vs. taking the tube. The guy who sold us tickets said the buses run until 8pm and the map showed that it had a... More

This company is extreme professional from beginning to end. I got tickets online before I left the U.S. I was able to save the information on my phone and take it to the attendant near Victoria station- she printed the tickets I needed. It was super convenient. Caught an English speaking bus which was informative and the guy had a... More

I only had 2 days in London before heading to the countryside. I'm not big on super touristy things but I'm really glad to did the open top bus tour. It's hop on, hop off, with your ticket valid for 24 hours. It also included a cruise on the Thames, though I did not have time for that. Thus bus... More

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
