Headphones were of poor quality. What was said was not particularly interesting. Should have taken the yellow line but only realised it much later that it had live explanations. We were actually bored in the red line and took headphones off and enjoyed the drive. Pity really.

downloaded tickets before hand for ourselves and friends, we were staying in Marylebone and were told we had to validate the tickets at Main Shop at Piccadilly which took 20 minutes in a taxi and cost £20. We were then directed to three different bus stops before we got the right one for the tour we wanted. traffic was virtual... More

Superb way to explore London. We boarded the bus near Trafalgar square and traveled out past St Paul’s Cathedral and got off at Tower Bridge. We then re-boarded, headed back towards Westminster and then on to Buckingham Palace and Piccadilly Circus. We had the pre-recorded kids commentary which was really engaging and kept my children entertained throughout. It was Half... More

A great way to get familiar with your surroundings in central London. The perfect way to start sight-seeing your first day in London after a long, transatlantic flight.

We enjoyed the tour itself, but not the waits. We waited over 40 minutes to take the purple route towards Notting Hill, after getting off the black route. Then wait 10 additional minutes inside the bus. We had waited 30 min for the black route at the Great Portland St. The only answer we got when asking about the delay... More

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
