Now I don't like jazz that much, but Ronnie Scott's big jazz band were great as was competing and guest singer. It's central London so if you have the priority seating and eat it's quite expensive, with the optional / obligatory 12.5% service charge for ok service. Nonetheless, the overall evening was really good and the band really belt it... More

I went to see Billy Cobham on 27th of feb and it was an experience I'll never forget. I even got to shake his hand! The club itself isn't particularly lavish or spacious but they have got the things that matter absolutely right. You'd be hard pressed to find somewhere with a better atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive,... More

we went for a Sunday lunchtime birthday treet. Booked months in advance so had a table for 6 right by the stage. Loved every minute. The food was good and the service was fabulous in a friendly jazzy sort of way. Amusingly had to have a bucket by the table to catch drips from torrential rain outside. They gave us... More

and great whiskey....get a small table and enjoy great musicians. No bad seats, usually a late show at 11:30.

Love this place. Great jazz. The night we went, there were young jazz musicians playing, part of the Outreach Programme, which was an additional treat. Food is pricey but excellent, and drinks are - well, this is central London, a special venue, what do you expect? The seating arrangement is intriguing but it works, and we were able to meet... We've been trying to get in here for ages but this time booked well in advance when we knew we were due in London. A real old style jazz bar (would have been a nightmare in the days of smoking!), not cheap but very popular and we went to the last house on Friday and so could stay on for... More

This is the best of the best. The venue is just the most amazing place to spend an evening, with fantastic drinks, staff, atmosphere and most importantly, MUSIC. £45 each to spend the night but worth every bloody penny. I wish I could go every weekend, as I always spend the next 2 days on a high!

What a great place.... The bar has so much life and soul and everyone there is having a great time. I've always wanted to go and always had a pre-conceived thought that it might be quite pretentious and snobby being such a hot spot in Soho but was sooooooooo wrong! It was the most fun, laid back, happy place. The... More

I love blues, I love soul, and Ronnie's is the best place. The monthly Soul and Blues Sunday nights are my favourites.

The first time I went I was amazingly lucky to see Diana Krall. Every time, each artist has been phenomenal. The venue is intimate and dark and the food is good. To be honest, it's not about the food but the music and the atmosphere. I always leave feeling happy, life is good.
