Visited for a private afternoon concert. Music was fantastic as was the venue itself. Ordered a couple of cocktails which were very tasty and beautifully presented. Unfortunately it was near impossible to order anything during the concert as the staff were not actively looking out for people trying to call them over. There were menus on the table when I... Just got back from seeing Curtis Stigers playing here tonight. I had bought my tickets for £50 each and we were going to have a meal also. Not impressed where they put us at the back of the room at the side, but we could see the stage without a pillar in the way. We were told that if you... More

Have been twice now to Ronnie Scott's and both times lived up to expectation. The musicians are fantastic and the food sublime!

We arrived a little late for the main act. Not good from us and we were trying to slink in like naughty children. Unfortunately having booked a good table, I found myself at the very front so close to the artiste I was virtually sat at the piano. Now for the food. We were so close to the stage and... More

Tried to get into the upstairs bar but bouncer didn't let us in... Not sure why. Very discriminatory, not what jazz should be about, and a shame such a legendary club is exclusive like that. Possibly even race-related in its prejudice.

On our recent trip to London, we visited Ronnie Scotts. The Jazz show was spectacular. We enjoyed a full evening of great musicians and a wonderful dinner. The relaxing low light intimate ambiance added so much to the evening. Definitely not a place for young children, but if you like jazz you need to experience Ronnie Scotts. This is a... More

We have always wanted to visit Ronnie Scott's and our mid 20's children organised a Sunday lunch for 5 of us. Service good, jazz very good, food variable (but probably OK as it is not a restaurant!)

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
