Wonderful legacy from the fantastic London Olympic Games in 2012. The whole area has been rejuvenated and its a great place to visit for the legacy and looks stunning.

The Olympic Village in Stratford , London is a 'piece of magic'. Although still being developed there is currently plenty to do for the family [ old and young ]. Whilst being well serviced by train, car and bus the 'village ' offers a range of facilities including swimming for the family, events and interesting walks. The children are able... More

I actually went to see the Paralympics here in September 2012 and it was a wonderful experience, would have been great to go to the Olympics but as all the tickets were gone this was just as good. It's a lovely atmosphere and place to go just to say you have been - I think it was even better to... More

I visited Stratford and the Olympic Staduim as I wanted to see what it was like after the Olympics. My son and I decided to go up into the Arcelormittal Orbit Art Sculpture. From a distance I feel it looks quite ugly, but once you are up clos it is quite fasinating. We both had concession tickets, one senior one... More

Went last Saturday morning on a family outing with three grandchildren and their parents. After a bus and overground rail journey we entered the Olympic Park in Stratford. It was just a short walk from the station to the Olympic Park and very close to the entrance was the swimming pool. Our intention was for all of us to swim... More

Travelled to Stratford to see the Olympic arena but sadly it is fenced off and couldn't see too much. The advertised bus didn't appear and not sure where we would have gone anyway. I was in awe of the stadium, it was so impressive. Having been fortunate to go last year at Disability Sport Athletics I feel so attached to... More
