Arrived at the destination with high expectations... but was met with a building site. Luckily the structure still looks somewhat like the Olympic stadium from the outside but is ruined for photo opportunities by the cranes and closed off access boards surrounding it. The rest of the area is good for kids, with plenty of free activities on offer such... More

Went to the stadium with my granddaughter last Sunday. We were surprise there was so much to see and do, had a trip on the canal boats then walked through the lovely grounds, great play areas for kids climbing walls , water fountains ,hellter shelters etc. Good choice of restaurants and cafés. Not forgetting the Olympic pool a great day... More

Take a walk around the Olympic park as its worth a visit. Great open space for children to run around with things for them to do along the way. Also places to sit and have a bite to eat and a drink if you wish. The sun was shinning and we all had a great time there.

Impressive stadiums and buildings, however not a lot is going on there now. A hopelessly over expensive tower, Some cool fountains but it just feels like a ghost town. Great then, not so much now

Great to go and have a look at what has been done at the park. Transport links easy. Access easy and information points great. Shame stadium shut but rest is good.

Visited the park last week and was very impressed. Didn't get to go in 2012 but could visualise the hustle and bustle that must have occurred during the Olympics. Lovely walks and plenty of seating. The stadium was full of workmen and building stuff but the swimming pool was quite full and there was a charity abseil happening at the... More

I visited this stadium to watch the London Anniversary Games last year. Being a die hard fan of athletics (and sports in general) it was absolutely brilliant to see the stadium that was used for the London 2012 Olympics in action. It's a shame that it has been changed and altered as it really was spectacular. I was also lucky... More

Went on a guided tour of the Olympic Park Stratford yesterday evening. It has been beautifully laid out. Worth seeing Zaha Hadid's Aquatic Centre, the Stadium and the Velodrome. Olympic Village now turned into flats. Westfield Shopping Centre is worth a visit.

Having visited during the building my husband & I wanted to see the finished article. Such a beautiful serene place. Perfect to while away a few hours with a loved one. The viewing tower is expensive at £15 each for all it is.
