Today went on the Emirates Air Airline cable car across the Thames from the Royal Victoria docks on the North side of the river to the Greenwich peninsula on the south side. The cost was very reasonable at around £4.80 for the trip. The views over London were brilliant, we were lucky to have a clear sunny day. Highly recommended... More

line was quite long but soon went down as its can fit 10 per car and they leave every 30s so don't be put off by the size of the line.. Get in line and then get someone to get the tickets from the office/ticket booth. get ya camera ready as it shows up the whole of London on a... More

I was on a flying one-day visit to London and I was trying to take in as many of the newer attractions that have appeared in London since moving away from Kent 8 years ago. The views offered by this attraction are absolutely superb, overlooking the O2 dome and the Docklands sky scrapers. When I visited there were no queues.... More

It was a lovely day and there was some nice views, of the O2 arena, Thames Barrier and the Thames, however, much of the view is of builders yards and waste ground. For one adult and child return with a discount because we had a travel card it cost £10. It was about 10 mins each way. It is one... More

What a great way to travel from Canary Wharf to the O2. Great value at £4 a trip and cars are running constantly so never much of a wait,

Great view, especially on a sunny day! I recommend going towards the O2, as there are more things to do at O2 than at the other side.

Yes, Better view than London Eye which is roughly £30 each! and this was only £4.50!! Well worth the money, with great views! You have options to buy just 1 way or return cable car ticket.

The problem with this is it's location. North Greenwich next to the O2 is great, but it goes across to Royal Docks where there is nothing to do. So most people just do a round trip.

Something to finish off our trip to London - We wanted to do the Eye but it was roughly £30 each!! and this was only £4.50!! Well worth the money, with great views! You can also use your Oyster card and its cheaper again. No ques, we got straight into one of the cable cars and shared with 3 other... More

My partner and i did a sightseeing trip down the Thames and disembarked at North Grenwich for Lunch. On the Greenwich side we could not find any decent restaurants, so we were lured across to the Royal Docks. The Emirates Air Line is well worth a visit. The fully enclosed cars soar to some 200 ft above the Thames and... More
