Delicious food, albeit pricey (like most anything in London). I had the chicken and mushroom pot pie, my husband had the fish and chips. He said they were the best chips he had on our five day trip. Everything about the pot pie was fantastic. Service was great.

Stopped for lunch, my wife and I got pints and jacket potatoes. The staff had to work hard to find us to deliver the food despite their having seated us, but the good was good, the beer was great, and service fast and it was a great value and a great location. Nothing wrong with that! Reference a recent review,... More

British pubs are remarkably consistent which likely explains why there are so many of them - no reason to go very far when the one next door is not much different than one 3-blocks away (even gastro-pubs are not exactly a wild departure). I happened into The Swan with a friend. Probably 6-ales on tap (versus) and about 10 lagers... More

We had fish and chips and shepherd's pie at this restaurant, and they were good. The atmosphere is calm and inviting - no loud music or crazed crowds. Very enjoyable place for dinner.

Went for an evening meal after a concert at The Royal Albert Hall as it was close by, 10 min walk. Friendly staff, good lively atmosphere. Food was reasonably priced, served quickly and was tasty.

Last week when staying in London, we stayed in one of the hotels near Bayswater Road. First night we were looking for somewhere to eat that did not cost the earth and came across The Swan. It is what you would expect a great, lively traditional London style pub. The fish and chips looked amazing but as we were trying... More

This is the second time we have stayed at a nearby hotel to the Swan in London. The Swan is a very popular traditional style pub, hence there is often difficulty in getting a table. They do good 'pub style grub', not gourmet, and not a great deal of choice, but the meals we had were very tasty and plentiful and... More

Great pub with a friendly owner. Went there for dinner, it was a mistake, the servings were very small.

Traditional pub excellent vibe quite friendly and convenient to go with business colleagues coz its quite calm. I quite liked the fact that it is 20 metres away from hotel where I am staying.
