Having wanted to see the show for years we booked tickets for the Sunday matinee performance. Superbly staged production - the set design and little touches front of house really bring the show to life! We happened to be there on the last performance of the girl playing Matilda too. Songs are superbly written and catchy. Sat in the upper... More

Highly recommend this musical. Very energetic and talented cast, especially the children, particularly Mathilda.

Went to see the show last Thursday. What a fantastic evening! I was sitting in the stalls in row G so had a fantastic view. I think small children would struggle to see if an adult was sitting in front of them. I think the show was very well put together, I didn't think I would have enjoyed the show... More

I bought the tickets to Matilda for my daughter, but I truly enjoyed the show. The acting is superb, with innovative choreography and set changes. A must see.

This musical was fantastically and professionally performed. Everything was slick, the actors were fantastic and the theatre beautiful. It was not the best musical I have seen but I did enjoy it, as did my son. Some of the songs were a little boring and it was quite different to the book and the film. I know stage is adapted... This was the first musical me and my partner of 9 years have seen together. We both really enjoyed it,however we were disappointed by the small deviation from the book. The music was amazing as was the choreography and we were both thoroughly impressed with the actimg and the set. I would recommend a visit to see it. I would... More

Was really not very impressed. I thought Roald Dahl's masterpiece would have been given better mth an re exiting this. Whilst others clearly enjoyed it I did not. Having seen several musicals over several days this was the second worst one we saw. Sad but that's how I saw it.

My wife and I have seen almost ever musical in London over the past 20 years and we were really looking forward to seeing Matilda with our 17 year old goddaughter during her first visit to London from Russia. We booked the private box at the back of the stalls with some trepidation. It was an inspired choice , we... More

What a fantastic musical. The performances of all the children were complimented by fantastically funny performances from the adults. This was a visual delight and the songs were terrific. I honestly was not expecting to enjoy this and only went as my wife wanted to attend as a birthday treat. If you are only planning on taking in 1 musical... More

Me and a few friends were set to go to a gig at Shepard's Bush, but 2 days before it got cancelled due to illness so we were stuck for something to do. We look at last minute shows and managed to get tickets for only £25 each which we were very impressed by. This was on the official Matilda... More
