Fabulous!

Amazing show - emotional, inspiring, funny - with an amazing cast and set, would see again tomorrow! Would be a good show to see with teenagers.

We took my 6 year old grand daughter to see this show (Min age is 6 years of age) She had seen the DVD a few days before and this was her 1st experience of going to a theatre. Show very good and storyline is excellent. The cast were very good. Cambridge theatre is a bit on the small side... More

My wife, daughter and I went to see the show on Sunday afternoon and loved it. It was very funny. The whole cast played their parts brilliantly. For me, Matilda and Miss Trunchbull were particularly good. However, that's not to say the others were any less good ! I can wholeheartedly recommend this show to anyone irrespective of age. Kids... I enjoyed Matilda, the kids were delightful, Matilda had a strong voice and Trunchbowl stole the show. Terribly uncomfortable seats, and a set that left too much work for the imagination to do, I wasn't particularly moved by either humour or emotion.... It was just OK.

The musical ‘Matilda’ originally written by Roald Dahl, was fun packed and heart warming tale of a girl who just wanted to be loved due to the bad childhood she had which caused her to have powers to control objects with her mind which she uses to overcome evil. The portrayals of the characters were accurate and engaging which intrigued... More

Loved it! Saw this show for my birthday last week, because what better way to celebrate your birthday than by reminiscing over a childhood favourite! Wasn't sure what to expect, but had only heard good thing about it. We were seated in the upper circle, and while we could see all of the stage, we missed anything that happened in... More

Matilda the Musical is spellbinding from the moment you the enter to leaving, the stage is brilliant with the lettering, my daughter and I were competing against one another to spot the words, slight downside is that the stage is quite lowdown so you spend time dodging the head in front of you but that does not detract from the... Went as a couple, sat it the third row by the aisle which I can recommend. Great heartfelt show with wonderful music and a modernness which we both enjoyed. Brilliant show and cast, and funny to boot! Wonderful evening!

I have been waiting years to watch this musical and I have to say it was definitely worth the wait! I am a huge fan of Roald Dahl book and I really think the musical did justice to the original story. Of course it is obvious that the musical would not include everything and have changed the story a little... More
