It was really funny and the actors were brilliant. I loved it and so did my family! I would recommend Matilda to families.

I went on a Saturday night with my best friend, we are both 26. Although the majority of the audience were young children (or people with young children) we had an absolutely fantastic evening. The stage set, songs, dances and acting was all fantastic. We were amazed by Matilda! Would definitely go again and have recommended it to my friends...

We enjoyed the production of this wonderful story but I offer a tip - the clever lyrics are very difficult to understand. if you plan to attend, get a recording of the show before you attend, get yourself familiarized with the lyrics and then you will enjoy the production of this laughable, heart-warming tale.
So fresh and new the staging and choreography are just incredible. It's a must see. They have summoned the most talented children in all of London.
We went to see this without our children in tow......"shame!" I hear some say. But they were very happy with their visit to see Iron Man last week and will be equally so with a trip to catch the latest Star Trek movie. what a fabulous show, so much talent on one stage, have been twice, and would go again, the songs, and acting are breath taking, esp the swing scene...
The actors were excellent--Matilda was great, but Mrs. Turnbill stole the show. If you see a Matinee, have tea at Mercer Hotel's Dial Bar beforehand--it serves a Matilda tea that's enjoyable and they give kids a gift that is associated with the show.
Maybe it was because we didnt have young children with us but I thought the show was very amateur. Not worth the £64 per ticket.
I enjoyed so much watching the children dance and sing. The show is very well done. It is for all ages to attend. It was a fun time and well worth the cost of the ticket. I had read on trip advisor all the reviews and decided that my only night I had in London was to see this show...

Very helpful theatre staff - seats, drinks, toilets etc. Good old-fashioned London auditorium and the Dress Circle seats afforded excellent view of stage. Interval drinks were all ready and correct. Show was absolutely stupendous from smallest child up to headmaster/mistress. Matilda was brilliant, both the individual character and the whole show -sets, stage trapdoors, choreography and music. Do go!
