What a pleasure to see so much fine art so well commented in brief, informative ways. I enjoyed every moment in this museum.

This is simply the best musical I have ever seen. It is a great story to start with. The music is brilliant, the lyrics witty and clever as you would expect from Tim Minchin, and the acting and singing whether from child or adult performers - impeccable. This is an absolute must see, for all ages. But I don't know... More

Being a huge lover of Roahl Dahl I was thrilled to recieve tickets as a gift! I was blown away and absloutley loved the performance and the twists that make it different from the book. Would highly recommentd. Only thing I would say to bear in mind is it is an oldlondon theatre so some seats are really high up!!!

I had been looking forward to the show but i was left disappointed. The kids were amazing, the Matilda on my day (19th October) was a fantastic Matilda but there was just something lacking with the show. I wasn't a huge fan of the way the story flowed, it didn't seem as natural as other shows i have seen. But... More

I am a huge theatre lover, however Matilda wasn't one of my favourites. It's really for the kids not us adults.

Great for the children but I found it a bit boring as never having read the book I needed my granddaughter to tell me what was happening but she enjoyed it

I went here with my friend after much anticipation and was not disappointed. I thought the theatre would have been nicer but that's the only negative. (Also went to another theatre the previous night so maybe just in comparison this one wasn't as "grand".) The set was fantastic and the acting/signing equally excellent. Would be a great night out for... More

Booked this following the hype and left a little disappointed. The set was fantastic and the design very clever. The musical itself was more like panto (with a bit of audience participation after the interval - yuk) and the songs are poor as they're just not catchy. The Parents of Matilda have been directed as hammed up, panto style clichés... More

Attended Saturday matinee - lots of children and parents but this show was so good hardly a murmur was heard throughout. It is a musical which is entertaining for all generations.
