My wife and I took our seats along with hundreds of children with their parents for this Saturday afternoon matinee. Not the normal type of musical (if there is such a thing), this show offers the opportunity to forget all the trials and tribulations of modern day life and to escape into the world of one of the very best... I booked tickets through boxoffice.com. the seats were in stalls row Q. Brilliant view of the stage. I have recently been to Charlie and chocolate factory, Wicked and finally Matilda. Matilda was by far the best. I laughed all the way through. Dance and musical routines were amazing. All my family said they will watch it again. It is geared... More

I can see why this wins so many awards, it's amazing. It's clear to see where Tim Minchin has been involved with the score. An outstanding musical. Top, top show.

Overall this show was really good but I did feel it was quite slow at the start, with it getting better as it went on, ending on a really great high. The acting quality of the kids in it is brilliant.... hard to believe they are so young! When booking a seat though try not to get the back row... More

For a £5 day seat the show was nothing but fantastic, especially loved Bruce Boggtrotter and Miss Trunchbull (loved/hated). The first number was a bit of a slow starter for me but it seemed to improve throughout the show until the final song which I thoroughly enjoyed. Worth a watch when in London.

I couldn't believe the amount of adults without children who had decided to come to see Matilda. Show was absolutely fantastic and the children where outstanding in the show. I cannot believe how had they worked. Borrow a kid or 2 and go see this show.

We went to see this with our 12 year old son. On the night we went, the children in the cast were having their very first performance. They were amazing! I would not be surprised if the girl who played Matilda becomes very well known. A very funny show
