I have been here loads. On Friday just gone there was a really helpful bar man really efficient and I wanted to say Thankyou. Was on the top bar dark haired guy serving the right hand side of the bar as you walk in. As much as this is a great pub and I enjoy coming here I would like... More

Very busy pub off of the Strand. I like it, different levels and a good vibe. Only issue is that it gets really packed. We went in on a Wednesday night around 8 and struggled to find a seat. When we did though the bar staff where helpful and the food good and prompt. I'd say more of a few... More

A little on the expensive side as it's right in the tourist trap, but this is a great pub. Beers, lagers and wines from across the world so there's something for everyone's taste. It's a huge pub with 4 or 5 floors but as its dark with low ceilings it makes it feel small and intimate. Great pub

Having been to The Porterhosue in London many times over the past few years, I have watched as so many other craft pubs have come along and left this place trailing in their wake as far as choice of beer is concerned. There are a few decent staples at the Porterhouse bar depending on your favourite tipple but the HopHead... More

Located in the city centre, this pub has a great visual impact. It also has live music every day except Mondays and Tuesday (if I'm not wrong...). Only problem is that as all the pubs in the Strand area it closes very early ~11.30pm. Cinderella time.

A popular bar with several levels. Enjoyable beer which can't find elsewhere. Sometimes there are live bands. It can get really busy indeed but it has a good atmosphere.

Visited here to watch the Kerry and Cork Munster final replay last Saturday. Go downstairs to hear the commentary and see the match on a big screen. Delighted to see Kerry win 😃

I had been to the Porterhouse many times in the last fifteen years and the food had always been a cut above your average pub grub. On this occasion the beers were excellent, as always, but the Ploughmans sharing platter was dire. Tasteless cheddar, with the texture of processed cheese, two miniature pork pies that, for some strange reason had... More

We visited last Saturday having been to The Porterhouse in Diblin a couple of times last year and had excellent food there. What a difference having got a table we studied the menu for just a minute and left! There was only burgers or pizzas none of the lovely typical Irish dishes we had enjoyed in Dublin We certainly won't... More

The Porterhouse is a huge multi-level Irish Pub behind the Strand. It is so large depending on what section you are in, it almost feels as if you are in different Pubs. My understanding is that they they have a dedicated Brewery providing craft beers. Early on a Wednesday evening there was a large lively crowd which was a mix... More
