My husband and our two teenaged sons were in London visiting our daughter, who is spending the semester there. We spent our first full day in London on a full-day tour with Jonnie, and it was the perfect way for us to get to know the city and for our daughter to learn more about the city she has grown... It was a pleasure to join Jonnie on a walk around the City of London and some of Spitalfields. He knows his stuff, is full of life and fun stories, and takes you on places you have never been - even if you have lived in this city for more than 10 years like I have. He was brilliant at... More

Having done many walks in this wonderful city,it was a pleasure to join the Saturday morning walk with Jonnie. What an amazing guy he is , so informative, with an unending knowledge of Londons past. Added to this was the fact that this tour unlike others was just a small party of 10. Jonnie, aside from what has been mentioned... More

Johnnie's knowledge of London's history and unusual facts is amazing. I would never have thought to look for the painted dried gum on the Millenium Bridge. He is very friendly and accommodating around the group's needs or interests. Highly recommend doing this, even as a local there is so much to be learnt on the tours.

We took a Sunday afternoon East London tour with Jonnie after moving to London. We were considering moving to the area and wanted to get a good idea of what it was like. Jonnie's tour ticked all the boxes. It's the only East London tour which I could find which wasn't entirely based on Street Art or Jack the Ripper... More

We were a group of 4 (2 couples) and we had pre-arranged to have a private tour with Jonnie and we were so glad we did. He met us under the Blue Cock in Trafalgar Square and gave us an outline of what he intended to do and asked if we had any specific requirements. We left to him and... More

It was my first time in London and my husband's first time that he was not working. We contacted Jonnie a few weeks out from our trip to talk to him about doing a private walk. My initial experience with Jonnie was fantastic, full of information, fast response, and extremely helpful. We decided to book two half-day tours at the start... More

We went on a private tour with Jonnie - it was our first time in London, and I'm a history buff. I also have arthritis so can't walk very fast. Jonnie was a terrific find - it's like walking around with a good friend while he tells you some of the fascinating history of the city of London! He has... More

Jonnie led us through the streets of London sharing knowledge and insights in a highly personable manner. It was our first day in London, and he was able to take us through many of the sights we hoped to visit in our four-day stay. My husband really likes history - and Jonnie presented it in a way that I also... More

I was visiting London for the first time on business and had just one day to myself to see a few sights. To make the most of my time, I teamed up with Jonnie to spend an afternoon touring around London. Although one day (and probably not even one week) is not enough to really get a feel for the... More
