Jonny is an absolute delight; full of wit, humour and a lot of interesting facts about London. The tour is very relaxed and as the groups aren't that big, it's really informal and you feel as though you're on a tailored tour as jonny adds extra bits in with interesting 'asides' as he matches up with the interests of the... I had a half day private walk with Jonnie a couple of weeks ago and it was a blast! He took the time to find out what I had already seen and what I was interested in and then he organized a 3.5 hr walk for the afternoon that was just what I had hoped it would be. It went... More

Our 2 day experience with Jonnie was a blast! He is very laid back and allows you to stop for shopping, toilets, coffee, etc. We strolled along at a nice pace and he pointed out so many neat things! We also got to experience lunch both days with him and he took us to 2 requested types of lunches. Both... More

We just recently booked a 2 day private tour with Jonnie and couldn't be happier with the experience. He met us at our hotel both days and we set off on foot for a fun adventure. He took us all over London and hit all of the main sites as well as seeing things that were off the beaten path.... More

Jonnie was a great guide and kept me and my 17 year old interested and entertained for the whole 3-hour walk. He has a relaxed style -completely natural and unscripted so you don't get bombarded with historical blurb, but you pick up loads of interesting facts and stories . We'll definitely book to go on another walk with Jonnie.

My family and I did a 3.5 hour walk through Westminster with Jonnie in early August. He has a great quirky sense of humour and the tour was fun and engaging. Our 11 year old loved every minute of it. We cannot wait to go back to London and do another tour with Jonnie.

Our Bowl of Chalk walk was so much fun. I loved learning about all the fun things, facts, and newsy stuff London has to offer and Jonnie was the best guide.

The family had a private tour with Johnnie. Quite frankly, the vast majority of the Tripadvisor reviews are correct; it's undoubtedly a five star experience. We thought we knew London well; clearly we did not! We are already planning the next tour. These tours are a must for visitors to the Capital as well as Londoners.

My experience with Bowl of Chalk was fantastic! Just a really great way to see the hidden gems of the City of London and avoid the tourist traps. Jonnie is incredibly knowledgeable and personable... it also doesn't hurt that he looks like the love-child of all the members of Coldplay. In all seriousness, though, my Bowl of Chalk walking tour... More
