We had a very nice Sunday walk with a small group around the East End with Jonnie who was very personable and friendly. The trail led us round the Shoreditch and Spittalfield areas and included many interesting locations with lots of street art examples, historically important buildings, pubs and markets. Jonnie regaled us with many stories, history notes and interesting... More

My "sister" and me really enjoyed the Sunday Bowl of Chalk walk. Very informative & pleasant and you see thinks you won't notice walking there alone. A lot of street art - fascinating!

Talking a walking tour with Jonnie is like having a friend in London to show you the hidden gems of the city. He does all the tours himself, so you don't have to worry about getting a "bad" guide. The Sunday East End tour was exactly what I wanted - it had some street art but was not completely focused... More

Jonnie,is an easy going guy that walked us through the highlights of London. We were short of time because we were on transit at Heathrow, he let us know how to take the Tube to meet him in central London and 3 hours later guide us back to the Tube to return to airport. What coud be an 7 boring... More

Spend an enjoyable Sunday on my 3rd Bowl of Chalk (walk) - each time I learn more and more about this amazing city from Johnni. This time it was Shoreditch, Spitalfields and Columbia Road Market. Simple to organize - an email and a time to meet - and then all you need is your feet (and sometimes an umbrella). Liked... More

Jonnie's Sunday walk around Shoreditch and Spitalfields is a great way to see a trendy and fast-changing part of London in a relaxed, entertaining style. Londoner or visitor, you learn a lot and have plenty of laughs along the way. Our teenage visitors voted it one of the best parts of their trip to London. Jonnie is knowledgeable and fun... More

We booked a full day private tour with Jonnie and it was, without a doubt, the outstanding highlight of our trip. Our brief for the trip was to see and learn things that the large travel companies skip past. Firstly we were met at our hotel on time and immediately felt relaxed and confident that recommendation we received was spot... More

Informative tour and a trip highlight. Jonnie is fun and personable. Enjoyed his many layers of London facts. Both the Saturday and Sunday morning walks are worth experiencing. Highly recommend, so glad we followed the reviews from TripAdvisor. Wish he would have charged us all fee, but understand his reasons for the optional "pay what you want". Hope he continues... More

This walking tour was my favorite thing we did during our 4 day trip to London last month. We enlisted Johnnie to take us to the "major" sights (Trafalgar Sq., Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, etc., etc. etc.) over 4 hours. Johnnie is very personable, knowledgeable, and just a lot of fun to be around. He is also SO great with... More

My 13 year old son and I spent a lovely day with Jonnie during our three day stay. Knowing that my son would balk at a long sightseeing tour with me in charge, I searched for a private guide who would craft a tour to include all the main sights, and string them together in a coherent, fun way. From... More
