Jonnie is not an *amazing* London guide -- he's the best!

I actually live in London (moved here recently from the U.S.) but had family visiting and wanted to make sure that we had a deeply knowledgeable expert to show us around London. I could not have chosen a better such expert than Jonnie. He is so knowledgeable about every last nook and cranny of this city -- you can tell... More

My husband and I took two private walks with Jonnie which was like taking a walk with a knowledgeable old friend. A friend who knew so many interesting bits and bobs of history and language and everything else you could wish for. Like where the expression "one for the road" came from. I'll let Jonnie tell you that himself. Don't... More

My family did a private tour with Jonnie on a Monday morning. The group of five included a 15 year old, a 19 year old, Mom, Dad and Grandma (that's me).Three in the group had been to London recently a few times (Mom, Dad and 15 year old son). I hadn't been to London for 24 years and then only... More

Jonnie's tour was just outstanding. My wife and I had seen the popular sights with a bus tour group, but we were looking for a private tour to kick off our extra days after the tour group went home. Wow. Jonnie met us at our hotel, and immediately began to point out little "bits and bobs" about the Thames, Trafalgar... More

I signed up for a Saturday afternoon walk with Jonnie. Although I had been to London before, I always like to participate in tours to "rejog" my memory. I showed up an hour early at our meeting point and decided to kill time by doing my own quick walkabout. That was a mistake. I managed to get lost and couldn't... More

Was superb. Just what we were looking for, the odd ball facts. Weenjoyed it immensely. We are coming down soon with friends and will be looking to book another trip with you. Sorry it was only us two but never known 2.5 hours to pass so quickly.

Whenever I visit a country for the first time I like to book a private tour first thing to get to know the place better before touring by myself. This tour was very important for us because London was my daughter's favorite place to visit and she wanted to know everything she could about it in the week we were... More

We did a Saturday morning Bowl of Chalk from Trafalgar Square to St Paul's. This was familiar territory, but with Jonnie guiding us we saw everything with new eyes. Showing both the monumental and the smaller detail, relating fascinating history and amusing quirky facts, and revealing lesser visited spots just a few steps away from main routes, Jonnie identified and... Our tour with Jonnie was excellent, I particularly loved his focus on the quirkier side. Would recommend to anyone planning to see London

From the moment we made the booking,, Jonny went out of his way to tailored the tour for our liking. Jonny arrived on time and gave us a quick run-down of the what to expect. Outside of the normal sights, Jonny constantly surprised us with little extras that made the day memorable. From the hand painted chewing gum, to the... More
