We spent a day with Jonnie on a private walk during our recent trip to London. We found him on TripAdvisor and he lived up 150% to all the stellar previous recommendations provided. He was quick to respond to my inquiry and the logistics were a breeze. Our walk ended up being on the tail-end of a week-long stay in... More

You don't have to be from 'somewhere else' to enjoy a Bowl of Chalk walk. Even though I have lived in London for a good few years, I learned such a lot on yesterday's walk around East London. Jonnie knows the area intimately and very obviously enjoys introducing others to both contemporary culture and historical London. It's the details that... More

We hired Jonnie for two half days during our recent family vacation to London. We are thrilled that we did it! Jonnie provided so much information that we never would've learned on our own, and he took us to spots we'd never have discovered. He was upbeat, energetic, very funny, and great to be with. He was very accommodating of... More

Jonnie came highly recommended by a friend who visited London in March with his wife and 3 children. Never having visited London before, we took Jonnie's suggestion to do a tour around Westminster. It was great. As other reviewers have pointed out, Jonnie is great at quickly responding to all emails before your trip. He sent us a subway map... More

Bowl of Chalk was recommended to my by a friend and I'm so glad he told me about this. I come to London often and I'm a bit of an Anglophile. I did the St. Paul's to Monument walk and learned lots of facts and anecdotes about the city that I never knew and fun and interesting things you'd really... More

My wife and I were going to be in London for only two days and wanted to see as much as possible. Jonnie was great prior to our visit, being very responsive and answering questions. We booked an 8 hour tour and it was everything we were looking for and much more. Jonnie picked us up at our hotel right... More

Jonnie's personal style and tailored approach made us all feel very relaxed on our tour. Jonnie was very attentive to each of us checking we were all ok. Jonnie has an eye for the small details of Londons history that brought the past to life. After doing a walking tour of Westminster area on our first day in London we... More

We really weren't sure what to expect on this tour but what we got was simply incredible. First of all, after about ten minutes with Jonnie you felt like you were seeing the sites with an old friend - an old friend who happens to know a lot about the city. He has a very infectious, easy-going manner so that... More

We booked ourselves onto Jonnie's Sunday morning "My neck of the woods" walk as we felt we had over done the traditional sights of London, and we weren't disappointed. Encompassing Columbia Road Flower Market, a few works of Banksy and have you ever seen artwork on chewing gum on te pavement before ?! Jonnie has an obvious love of London... More

Jonnie was knowledgeable and started on time. We were a bit of a mess and he worked with us very well. He showed up and I had a hot dog stuffed in my big mouth. We wanted to get some coffee first and I'm in a wheelchair. He took it all in stride. My family of four had a very... More
