We had 24 hours in London on 18th January and we squeezed in a morning tour with Jonny around the Bishopsgate and Spitalfields area of London. It was a wonderful tour, a perfect way to spend a cold winter's day. My previous knowledge of and interest in street art was approximately zero but since our tour with Jonny I now... More

Jonnie - the tour leader - is fantastically knowledgeable about London and weaves an enjoyable walking tour around the East end of town (Sunday - My Neck of the Woods tour - Moorefield to Spitalfields Market) . He highlights interesting street art by big names as well as others which are by less well know artists or of such a... More

We absolutely loved our third walk with Jonnie. He was as funny and informative as ever and makes a real effort to engage with the group. I would hugely recommend these walks for tourists as well as people who live in London like we do!

We have just completed the Sunday walk with Johnie, as enjoyable as the first 2, so much interesting quirky information presented by a knowledgable person. No script, just a conversation really. I would strongly urge visitors to London to see the hidden city, and there is no better way than with "Bowl of Chalk" walking tours

Fantastic tour, Jonnie takes an approach of delivering the entertaining, off beat and genuinely interesting aspects of london that I'd never noticed until taking this tour. Despite living in this city it was still incredibly eye opening and great fun.

I stumbled upon the Bowl Of Chalk Walking Tours when I did some research online before heading to London for 2 weeks. I couldn't pick just one of the tours, because they all sounded great, so I joined Jonnie for a weekend and did all 3 walking tours. It was absolutely great! You get bits of almost everything: history, everyday... More

We only had a few days in London and wanted to explore parts of town that were a little outside of the traditional touristy areas. Jonnie's tour of the East End and the street art in the area was great. We had a small group with varied interests and he managed to keep us all engaged for the full 1/2... More

A friend advised us to join Jonnie on a Bowl of Chalk London walk and it was brilliant! Highlight of our week in London. We asked Jonnie to take us around East London... The grungy street art... Jack the Ripper's haunt... The markets... The old pubs and the grungy parts that tourists don't typically see. His historical knowledge and witty... More

Johnnie took our large family on a post Christmas lunch two hour stroll around Spitalfields, Brick Lane and Hoxton. It was an excellent experience which I can highly recommend. He is engaging and knowledgeable and mixed a good knowledge of local history with some interesting insights into local characters, events and places. He was particularly good on street art and...
