A nice idea for a birthday bash!

Took 4 teenage boys to urban golf soho. Very varied golfing experience but all had a great time even if we only managed 3 holes of the St. Andrews old course in 2 hours! Central location makes it easy - very chilled atmosphere so poor golfers have no need to feel self conscious. Food and drink served quickly so could... More

We came for my friends birthday, about 7 of us went along. We had two booths booked and got some time to warm up. We played almost a whole course which was a shame not to finish. But the scramble game is good. It means the golfers can all play from the same spot. This was good and you can... More

Given the reviews, I was surprised at how bad/boring this place was. Perhaps it was because we got the evening slot, but the place was dead - no music, no atmosphere and, frankly, no fun. Whilst our group were appalling at golf, the simulator seemed counter intuitive and made for a far slower, more cumbersome game than it should have... More

As a big golf fan, with less than a week to the masters it was only fair (for myself) to take the lady for a round at urban golf. UG offers golf simulators for players at all levels of ability to play at some of the world's most prestigious courses. awesome. With the girlfriend being fairly competitive, keen and slowly... I've been to Urban Golf about 4 times, and have always enjoyed my experience. I've even been with people who have never played golf and they enjoy it too. The food and beer is a bit overpriced, but otherwise, the service and equiptment is top notch. Would recommend for client entertaining or for a fun arvo/evening with friends.

The Waspcake recently took his golfing tour to Urban Golf as part of a whistle stop boozy daytrip to London Town. It should be pointed out that at this point of the day all competitors were sober and of sound mind. A great day was had by all concerned. Service from staff was great. The simulators themselves were slightly disappointing.... More

I came here as part of a Christmas do, this was the activity before our dinner. I haven't done Urban Golf before and this was surprisingly fun. We went to the soho branch which is discreetly located on Great Pultney Street. It is reasonable value however drinks aren't cheap. Time flies and there is also a putting area. Recommend as... More

9 of us went to the Smithfield site on the off chance they had availability, The greeting was good and the booking sorted out quickly, beers delivered to the table nice a quick too, i'd say the only down side to our visit was the young lad explaining the simulator to us, i think he needs to learn the difference... 12 of us wanted something different to do in London. We found Urban Golf. A great afternoon, we were well looked after and the guys working were full of jovial banter. Certainly a well spent afternoon with friends.

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
