The DLR is the smarty and easy way to get about above ground in the Docklands -well connected to Stratford and the City. It may get busy but there will be room for you.

I thought it was a marvellous way to see all the sights from the Hsbc tower in the banking sector to the O2 Arena the Thames barrier, there are lots of stops so you can get off and take a wander. You also have access as well to London City airport and Stratford international. It also links you back to... More

I used the Docklands Light Railway to get from the tube to my hotel at Docklands Excel and also the O2. The trains are clean and bright and very well maintained and they run every couple of minutes. The offer some great views of London and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Really can't fault the service 5 stars... More

We used the DLR for the first time when we spent 3 days in London sightseeing. We bought an Oyster card and loaded it up with some money beforehand. You can do this in any tube station or selected shops. When you use the DLR remember to touch your card on the yellow sign as you enter station and on... More

First time iv'e been down to this part of town on the train and I was suitably impressed. The stations were clean and tidy, staff helpful, and many of the stations themselves were a joy to see. We used it throughout marathon weekend. It enhanced our pleasure as there was some awesome views along the route of the line. An... More

I use the dlr fairly regularly and its always reliable. The journeys are quick. And they have very friendly and reliable staff. It's always great to sit at the front.

I'd never taken the DLR on previous trips to London but most of my time was spent on this service. Pretty much like the tube except a bit cleaner. There's a view while travelling bbut it's mostly industrial and highrises. No complaints.

The first time I boarded on DLR was on my way to Greenwich and it was such a nice surprise. It is rather new, especially in comparison to the old and dirty tube, but this is the least of all. The most important is that you enjoy the view during the route in an easy and relaxing manner. It is... More

The best part of the DLR in my opinion starts in Westferry, referring to the line that ends in Lewisham. From the train you can enjoy the modern panorama of Canary Wharf, is glass and iron buildings, stop at Heron Quay and walk to Reuters Plaza, have look at the futuristic Canary Wharf tube station and at the news led... Great way to travel in a quick efficient manner. Went to London x cell and it was quick and easy from Woolwich Arsenal. It is well run and clean and without the crowds and yet busy. No driver makes it quite scary but its the way forward.
