We really enjoyed our ride on the DLR and it did seem like a "ride" from a fair ground too.....as we were able to sit right on the front and could see really well the track in front and when it curves around and on a slight tilt it is quite fun even for us adults. The train was clean... More

My great grand daughter & I visited London last weekend, staying in the London Docklands area. We found this service to be fast & reliable, (even if we did get lost at Canary Wharf). It is an excellent mode of transport & we had great fun using it, pretending we were driving.

Excellent service as expected from London. Clean and easy to use just like the underground. Always on time and if any out of service it will be announced online and at stations. Very reliable service.

The underground service that runs overground. Good regular service throughout the Docklands areas of East London, great for Canary Wharf and down to Greenwich and connects through tot he tube system, well worth using. We stayed near South Quay and the DLR was invaluable in getting around.

The DLR was built cheaply to put much needed public transport into the docklands area of London. But she grew up to be one of the great successes of the Olympics, in that she outperformed what she was expected to do. I ride the DLR regularly, as I live in East London and it is one of my preferred methods... More

Used the Docklands Light Railway whilst on a whirlwind tour of London. The DLR is 25 miles (40 km) long, with 45 stations. There are six branches: to Lewisham in the south, Stratford and Stratford International in the north, Beckton and Woolwich Arsenal in the east, and Central London in the west, splitting to Bank and Tower Gateway This is... DLR need to spend more time deep cleaning the DLR service, loads of grime is visible. Services are not so bad but they should have more carriages on the lines

The DLR was the nearest station to our Hotel during a London stay. It offers a great service - clean trains, on time, very little crowding (obviously busier at rush hour). It's nice to see the City from over ground instead of always whizzing around underground too. We took a ride out to Stratford which was great - you can... More

We used the DLR to go from Greenwich back to a London tube station, and were thrilled to have done so! It is an amazing experience to travel through all the old and new neighborhoods of London - a totally different look!
