Great fast service, clean and a welcome change to the tube - go through the Canary Wharf area at night when it is all lit up and its a bit like being in the Bladerunner movie.

I travel by DLR every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, it is a great way to travel there are always regular trains which often have a member of staff, well cleaned and pleasant. There is a often a seat and enough room and you're not packed in like animals! It would be useful to have an Oyster card for the DLR... More

The DLR is a nice change after travelling in the stuffy busy underground. It's nice to see daylight and get a view! Canary Wharf being regenerated, nice to travel through and see this. Takes you to the Emirates gondola

I flew into London City Airport for the first time last week and it was a great experience. Less than 5 minutes to get from the arrivals hall and onto the railway for an easy trip into Tower Gateway. Great value at £4.70 (single). Also a great way to see the sights of this part of London and certainly more... More

In as much as anyone at DLR or TFL is interested given that passengers have no say on prices or anything else to do with the service, I have been made late for work because of a change to services between 3 and 7 November. I found this information on a poorly placed poster in Canary Wharf station. Thank you... More

My family and I used the DLR between Prince Regent and Tower Gateway during our stay between 27 - 31 October. It has be one of the best public transports systems in Britain! Clean, efficient and user friendly, this very regular service was highly reliable and had great connections with tube services. The staff on platforms and on the trains... More

I love the Docklands Light Railway, it's such fun, the scenery is lovely, it's worth a ride even if you only go and come back straight away! It gives you a comfortable view of parts of the City, you see different landmarks going out and on the return. If you are going somewhere it's a relaxed mode of travel, if... More

Its been around since 1987 but the Docklands Light Railway has had a number of extensions and improvements over the years, and an equal number of schemes put back for future development. Mostly overhead lines (as opposed to subterranean lines), this is an impressive system delivering people into and out of the Docklands / Canary Wharf area and the City... More

We had a underground pass for the day so decided to take a ride on the DLR. I'm certainly glad we did as it's a part of London I haven't seen. The trains are not at all crowded unlike the usual underground trains. I will definitely go again.
