Eventhough DLR doesn't cover a whole London but it is the most comfortable public transport in London. It has more space than Tube, faster schedule than Overground and Dockland area tour, since it;s not underground. I'd always love to sit in the most front cause I feel like a the roller coaster for kids.

Though our overall DLR experience was very good, the Canary Wharf stations have next to no signs. We spotted one arrow pointing us in a general direction to transfer from the Tube to the DLR, on our way towards the direction we thought we should be going, we met another befuddled tourist trying to find the Canary Wharf DLR station.... Very good service but a bit of a safety concern with no driver although it has been deemed safe but if you want a drivers eye view of the tracks ahead it's the best in the business

The Docklands Light Railway is a modern transportation railway to get around. It can be very busy, especially in the mornings and afternoons (since it serves Canary Wharf - where most of the big banks have their head offices). You can get some good pictures as it is all above ground. If you are just visiting London for a few... More

This service can get very busy at peak times - i.e. morning when people are going to work, which is expected. Don't have to wait too long for it but have to remember when to get off to connect at stations with the tube. Good view when on as you get to see a fair bit of London whilst travelling.

This is an excellent service and offers a quick frequent service to Bank Underground Station. Having tried it just for fun on previously, on this occasion I decided to fly into London City Airport from Amsterdam rather than flying into busy Heathrow. Getting through the airport was a 'breeze' compared with Heathrow and I then just bought a ticket and... More

We have always tended to stay central in London, but as we were staying for a longer time , we decided to choose a cheaper option which was to stay in the docklands. I did think this would impede on our enjoyment of our stay, but the DLR service was most reliable and frequent that we did not spend all... More

Have travelled on this every Friday and Sunday night for nearly two years, I have never had a train come late and they're always cleaned and well maintained. One problem that does occur is a lot of maintenance work especially weekends so be prepared for that however there are replacement buses but they're usually packed and come infrequently. Get an... We used the DLR to get from central London to Greenwich where we wanted to see the Cutty Sark. It's a great way to go as it is mostly above ground and you get a good view of the surroundings including The docklands and Canary Wharf. Get on at the very front if you can. The train is driverless and... More

Clean comfortable and on time. Went from Tower Gateway to the O2, change at Canning Town. Has an employee on board always. Definitely recommend and you get to see London as well.
