I recently -April 2015, took my partner to see this record breaking show for her birthday and was not disappointed. An emotion packed show from start to finish in a lovely, intimate theatre. Difficult to add what has already been written about it - just go and see it!! What a fabulous afternoon we had!

We got some last minute tickets to see this on a Monday night at the Queens theater. I hadn't seen the complete film (I'd started it a few times and always got bored) and didn't have much hope for the stage performance.... However... I'd had it totally wrong! The performance was excellent and the story easy to follow. The way... More

we had better seats here at the queens theater compared to the prince edward theater. it was more comfortable. the musical was too loud, it was action-packed. the stunning performance of the asian actress who played fontaine was the highlight of the evening

Absolutely awe-inspiring show, incredible performance with excellent acting and songs. Moved me to tears, and has made it my favourite musical! Definitely without a doubt go to watch, simply spectacular, although you only have to read all the other reviews on here to see that. You won't be disappointed, it's a must do when in London.

We have seen Les Mis at a number of locations and different productions. As a birthday treat we took the family to the West End and saw the show. The Theatre is easy to find and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The cast were excellent, and the main roles PETER LOCKYER (Valjean), DAVID THAXTON (Javert),CARRIE HOPE FLETCHER (Eponine),... More

I cannot write a good enough review about this show. I took my mum for her 60th birthday present. We both loved the film and were keen to see the show. It has been booked since November so the suspense was killing us. I have been to see a lot of shows as I used to live in London but... More

There is a lot of competition for the pound in your pocket when looking for a great musical -there's Phantom, Wicked, Miss Saigon to name just a few. For me, nothing can beat Les Miserables.. The ticket prices are not cheap -Premium Seats £97.25/ "Red" seats £69.75/ " Blue" seats £47.25/ "Green" seats £37.25 / "Yellow" seats £14.75. What you... More

We had been wanting to see this show for years and so had been building it up and up. Our expectations were surpassed as the performance we saw was outstanding. The individual performances were fantastic especially from Thernadier and Jean val Jean. A must see show, no surprise that it has been on for 30 years!

This is a show I fought for many years not to go and see as having read the outline of what it is about it really did'nt appeal to me at all, my husband had always wanted to see it so I finally relented and we went 5 years ago, "How spectacularly wrong was I", from the moment the imposing... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
