As another recent reviewer said, I was a little unsure what to expect going in based on some of the negative reviews but we were going regardless, as part of a 10 person work group. In the end my girlfriend and I really had a good time, each won a little bit (one was 46 pounds on a 2 pounds... More

We had arranged a night out for work to visit Wimbledon Greyhounds, however on arrival we were turned away as we had a one year old in a pushchair in the party and they do not allow pushchairs at all, don't understand why as I believe by law they have to accept wheelchairs, but I guess a pushchair occupant is... We attended Wimbledon Dogs last night having pre-booked a race night and meal in the retaurant online (at £32 per head). Having read the reviews on here we were abit unsure what to expect. We did however have a fun night out. If you like gormet dining and speedy service in glamorous surroundings then this is not the place for... More

Went to the dogs on a night out. Queued for ages for drinks and to place bets so missed some of the races. There is no screen also to actually see the races from trackside. All in all quite disappointing

As a regular visitor to Wimbledon Dogs in the past I was disappointed to find the venue has deteriorated. It was a Friday night...the atmosphere was poor....the external viewing area was cramped and difficult to see the whole race. I did not eat but bought a J2O at the bar and was charged £3.00...that must be a 1000% mark-up! It's... More

It's a fun night out but DO NOT eat the food. We were a party of 6 booked into the restuarant. The food was DISGUSTING. Poor quality doesn't come close to describing what we were served. If it hadn't have been a pay in advance deal I would not have paid. Truly shocked that this kind of food is still... More

I went to a Christmas party at this establishment recently and besides the shoddy vibe of being in the middle of an industrial estate, it looks like it hasn't been updated since the 70s. I'm usually not picky with food, however the food served was of such poor quality with stale bread, mushy crisps and a very below average stake... More

Overall, we had a great evening – caught up with old friends and thoroughly enjoyed betting and losing (as usual!) on most of the races. However, our last few experiences at The Dogs were at Belle Vue, Manchester and unfortunately this venue doesn't even come close. It is scruffy, the fast food options were functional for staving off hunger at... More

booked a table for three for my youngest sons birthday. I asked for a table nearest the track which they manaed to organise. Had pint of larger and a coke at the bar which came to just under £6. went to table and looked at the menu. I already knew the price as when you book you pay and it... More
