Other famous productions at the Adelphi Theatre include Gertrude Lawrence in Cole Porter’s Nymph Errant, Ivor Novello’s The Dancing Years, Bless The Bride, Beatrice Lillie as Auntie Mame, Van Johnson in The Music Man, Lionel Bart’s Blitz! and Maggie May, Charlie Girl with Anna Neagle, a revival of Me and My Girl originally starring Robert Lindsay and Emma Thompson and in the Adelphi Theatre’s longest run (over nine years), the new Broadway production of Kander and Ebb’s Chicago. Revivals of Evita and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat have proved enormously popular. More recently, the theatre played host to the worldwide premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical Love Never Dies. « less

Cannot believe in one of the top London theatres you have vermin running around, brushing your feet whilst you are trying to watch a show. Absolutely appalled, nobody wants to dress up to have this type of thing happen to them. Staff were not interested, and for me this spoilt the night. Disgusting and disgraceful.

Have seen the show many times but I have to compare all the leading ladies.Alexandra burke was just of the planet. I am not a big fan so went and got one of her albums which did not impress me that much.I thought Beverly Knight was amazing But Alex, you blew me away last night I had mixed feelings entering... I didn't think I would like this show, even though I had never seen the movie, but I was pleasantly surprised. The leads were very good.

Went to see the matinée performance of the bodyguard. What an excellent show it is.The girl who does the matinées instead of Alexandra Burke has an amazing voice and the whole cast was excellent. A lovely theatre with a very helpful friendly staff

The best musical I have seen in a long time although was disappointed to find that Alexandra Burke who has only just taken over the leading lady role was not involved in the matinee today When you pay a lot of money for tickets to see the stars you would expect them to perform especially as she has only been... If you only see one musical in London this year then see this. Amanda Burke is sensational!!!! What a powerhouse it was just like listening to Whitney Houston (god bless her) The whole cast were amazing. What you waiting for book it now before the seats go.....

I was expecting a lot from The Bodyguard the musical and it was even better than expected. Alexandra Burke was brilliant, her vocals were amazing, her dancing was awesome and her acting was superb. I have seen a lot of musicals in London and this is definitely my new favourite, hopefully returning again before Alexandra Burke finishes!

Went here as part of our three daughters birthday. Beverly knight was amazing in her last performance as so were all the cast. Emotional roller coaster, laughing and crying. We all enjoyed it very much. It's a must see production.singing is amazing.
