This park is the perfect size for anyone with children. It's small, so you can see your child even if they run to the furthest end from where you are, but it's big enough for children to get a good run in! Sedate and well kept, it's lovely for romantic walks too.

Took a walk here yesterday. Grosvenor Square is a wonderful green area right in the heart of Mayfair. A stone's throw from the busy shopping streets (Oxford, Bond, Regent, etc) and perfectly located for the excellent restaurants nearby (Mount street, South Audley street, etc). With lots of trees for shade, benches to sit and relax in and enough space to... More

I happened to walk past in summer and was lucky to catch a summer programme in the square. It's a very large square with nice green spaces to chill out over lunch etc. Even for a tourist, it's a refreshing change form all the shopping along the (nearby) bustling Oxford Street. Have a relaxing drink here while you wait for... More

What makes Grosvenor Square different to all the other small areas of green dotted around London, is that it’s home to the US Embassy and the Canadian Embassy. Look for Dwight Eisenhower in his place of honour. Other than that, it’s a nice slice of peace and quiet, relatively so, in a busy area of London, somewhere convenient to take... More

This small quiet and modest square close to Oxford Street is where Londoners in the past who were anyone would reside. Nowadays it houses the American Embassy plus a few other heads of states offices. Worthwhile to walk through to get a sense of history

My boyfriend and I stumbled across a summer festival today. It is completely free with live music , free giant games for the kids and young at heart. It's a great way to chill out from the hussel and bussel of the city life. My only negative is we only found it on our last day.

Located just a few blocks to the east of Hyde Park and within comfortable walking distance from the busy shopping strips of Oxford Street and Bond Street, Grosvenor Square was a nice little park to relax for a while. There is an North American influence on the square, with the current US and Canadian Embassies sitting opposite each other on... More
