The whole show was really well done and all the actors worked so hard. The horses looked so realistic that after a while you almost forgot they were not real. The whole story although a little sad is well portrayed and if you like the theatre I would definitely say go and see this show as you will see how unique... Simply brilliant. Was recommended to me by a friend and like them I found this show to be both powerful and moving. I thought War Horse was a clear winner over Matilda and The Lion King (both of which were good shows).

Fantastic show...worth the price, which was over $100 per person when we bought our tickets. The horses feel real, despite your being able to see the people working them. A good story line, and not hard to follow if your WWI history is sketchy. Excellent experience.

What a truely amazing story. I am a horse enthusiast and was impressed how real the horses became. The puppeteers really did do their homework. I have to admit I was crying in parts, but was worth every penny.

This was a dramatic night and well worth a trip. Puppetry was tremendous - made the show. The skill demonstrated and the strength of the performers was most admirable. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Head and shoulders above the many light weight shows in London.

We had wanted to see this show for ages and were delighted when we were able to get tickets. Totally amazing us all we can say. Talented actors and puppeteers and most of the time you forgot the horses weren't real. Make sure you have read the book before you see the show so that you can appreciate the detail... More

A wonderfully presented story with masterful puppetry. Saw this at New London Theatre which due to its layout helps immerse you in the action.

A lovely story, incredible set design...you forget you are watching a play. The horses were magnificent and so real that I became attached! A very special production that you must see if you are in London. I really hope this production makes it to the US.
