This is a must see for children and adults. The use of animation of the horses by the cast is something that kept our attention and imagination until the end of the performance and was excellent.

The play was excellent and is still playing to full houses. The actors, especially those who had the task of working the mechanical horse we fabulous! See the Imperial War Museum to capture the essence of WWI as this is the time period War Horse takes place in. The theater and setting were also enjoyable. Just being able to walk... More

Fantastic all round. It was absolutely amazing how life like they made the horses. We booked seats on a wed evening for a Friday evening via Lovetheatre and got perfect seats. Definitely worth a visit.

On a 2 day visit to London with 2 of my children, I wanted to spend the evening at a theatre show. We went to the TKTS booth in Leicester Square and quickly bought discounted tickets for The War Horse. We immediately started walking to the theatre which took about 15 minutes, headed to the bar for pre-show drinks which... More

I have heard many reviews of this show, all of which raved about it but there was always something else I wanted to see more. We finally went in Kids Week. I was a little worried about how my children would be (9 and 8) and although they found parts emotional they still enjoyed it. From my perspective it was... More

It was beyond amazing very different to the book in a good way. Very sad would not recommend for children under the age of 10 as topthorn dies, but incredible performance and awesome puppets.

Went with a 9yr old and my 6yr old on Kids Go Free week. Was worried it might be too scary or grown up for them, they were transfixed. It was an impeccable production across all aspects. The 6yr old keeps asking when he can go again and us adults loved it too.

Amazing show, remember to take your tissues as not many dry eyes in the house at the end. ** All seating in the circle is good seating (loads of leg room & wide seats) - don't be put off with the back row for example **

Well worth a visit. As a regular theatre goer in London, the west end can be hit or miss but war horse did not disappoint. A truly remarkable show, the puppeteers are amazing, the horses are so life like

This is a must see. The story is fantastic and moving but the puppetry brings the horses truly to life. The accuracy of depicting their movement is awesome. What a wonderful experience!
