Thoroughly enjoyed the show, it was brilliant puppetry, amazing how they get the horses to move. My husband wasn't sure if he would enjoy it as he is not really one for the theatre but he thoroughly enjoyed it & said he would recommend it.

Amazing production, the puppeteers who operate the horses work so hard , the actions and sounds of the horses, the goose and the birds are incredible bringing eveything to life. The young woman who sang and played evoked the country folk sound for me.and the simple scenery made the action of war even more stark. An experience I wont ever forget

This show is probably one of the best I've seen , and I have seen many . Make sure you don't miss it . The horses are so realistic and acting brilliant . I would advise not to sit too near the stage, around four or five rows back will give you a better view .

A wonderful production with fantastic puppetry on an equine scale! It's a pretty unrealistic story and is far better portrayed than the film, although the book is better still. I would still recommend it because there is nothing like it on stage.

Fantastic play! We were amazed by how actors gave life and personality to horse shapes and by the use of a few tricks to make us sometimes feel like watching a movie. The acting is very good. The play evoke very well rural England from pre-war and the horror of war and fighting. The scenery is quite simple but very... More

We went to see this show because the guy at a random ticket counter said it was amazing. The puppets were really impressive, but the story was a bit slow to start off with. Act 2 was certainly much better, and the use of the video screen was great. We did enjoy the show (even if the boy did love... More

War Horse is one of the most moving shows we have seen. The puppets give such an impression of real life, and the way the puppeteers move shows they have closely studied live horses. We sat at the back of the circle and it was a little difficult at times to hear some of the words, particularly those of the... More

Wanted to see this for so long. It was amazing heart wrenching and captivating. I would totally recommend going to see this and in fact if it didn't cost so much to go to the theatre I would definitely go again.

Remarkable production. I took my Fiancé as a surprise treat. the staging was incredible and the actors manning the horses made you forget that it wasn't real, the mannerisms were so life like. I can't wait to take my parents!
