If you haven't seen either version yet - the play or movie - then you must take the opportunity when it is available. This is a heart-warming yet poignant and difficult story to watch. Set in rural Devon and war zones during the First World War, War Horse will amaze and entertain and make you cry and cheer and laugh... More

Today we saw the show War Horse it was truly amazing. Congratulations to the puppeteers just sooo clever. At times you lost sight of the fact that the horses were puppets operated by humans. We shed a tear or two as well, so moving.

this was an excellent show. there are 3 people operating the horse but the story and acting are so compelling to watch that after a while you totally forget about the operators and the horse becomes alive . all the actors play an amazing part. the theatre is all set dark and with a light mist hovering in the air... The outside of the theater might be misleading because the interior space is big and very well used / amplified. Absorbing show. Good actors. Good production. I'm not an expert in musicals but I would recommend this one.

Went on a bank holiday with hubby to see this, the engineering behind the animals and especially the horses was amazing, a bit disappointed that you can see the people moving but after 10 mins you will forget their presence. Nice story, I prefer musicals though.

Not really a fan of the theatre but after watching War Horse, This was brilliant. The real life horse puppets are incredible and move like real horses. The storyline is superb and all in all it is well worth watching.

Excellent show in a good theatre, not too large with good legroom in row E. The puppetry is wonderful, a must see production

I have wanted to see this show since it came out in London, but it never worked out. This trip, I was determined - and my only regret is that I didn't get to see it sooner. There is no scenery as such, but the whole effect is so strong that you can only be totally immersed. The acting is... More
