The tickets were a Christmas present and I wasn't looking forward to a puppet show. I just didn't see how it would work. Was I wrong. I was so wrapped up in the story I didn't even notice the people working the horses. What a fantastic show we enjoyed every minute of it. I got so involved in the story... More

I am not hugely into theatre but when I saw War Horse several years ago at the National Theatre I loved it. This time round I took my 9 year old son and loved War Horse just as much, maybe more. I was a little unsure about taking my son given that the recommended age is 10 and up but... More

Having wanted to see this show for the last few years we finally booked tickets and weren't disapointed. The show was truly amazing and worth every penny. The only thing that I would add is that I don't think the show is very suitable for young children as the subject matter is quite intense.

Whow whow! this is a must see show. Utterley fantastic. Sublime. The acting and puppetry was amazing. I couldn't imagine how good this simple set show could be so good. It draws you in and holds you. I couldn't recommend a show more.

Absolutely one of the best, well put together plays I have ever seen. All seats are fantastic to view it from, but my class members that sat on the first row said that they didn't enjoy their seats as they felt as if the had to bend their necks back the entire time

We went yesterday and it was a super theatre experience. It was different, like the Lion King you forgot they weren't real horses ! We both really enjoyed the show and would thoroughly recommend it.

I went to see the film and was disappointed (animals cant act!) but I knew this would be a feast. A must see show, incredible puppetry that encaptures the beauty, elegance and majesty of the horse. A superb performance. A must do in London.

As a regular theatre goer I had not for whatever reason ever managed to see 'War Horse' before last Saturday. The theatre is a modern lifeless ,concrete structure but lends itself a perfect venue for this production. Before visiting this play I venture that the attendee furnish themselves with a basic knowledge of the catestophic nature of how the Great War... We booked last minute and chose the cheapest seats at £27.50 each. The two seats were restricted leg room, however they were great seats. Just two on their on towards the back left of the theatre on the stalls. Leg room was not an issue as I'm an average height and I took my 8 year old. I was a... More

This really was one of the best westend shows I have ever seen and proved to be excellent value. The venue is small enough that few seats, even the cheaper ones, would not provide for a really entertaining evening. The puppetry is incredible; the subtle movements are incredibly convincing and it is no effort to accept the'houses' as the real... More
