Stunning and heartrending story highlighting the part played by horses in the first world war. We humans got ourselves into a psychopathic and pointless conflict, but the innocent horses never deserved to be part of that insane war. The puppeteers were breathtakingly skilful, and very soon seemed to disappear although they were always in full view of the audience. This... More

We were totally blown away by this amazing production. It was so moving , superb cast and the puppets were absolutely fabulous.. you just forget they are puppets, they are 'brought to life' magnificently! I highly recommend this wonderful show.

Much more than just a play about WWI, War Horse is a wonderful mixture of acting, music, dance and art, that bring the horrors and happiness of the piece to life. Go and see it.

Brilliant! Took my 16 year old to watch as she used 'The Warhorse' as her subject for her art GCSE. Wasn't sure I would enjoy, but was very pleasantly surprised. Excellent show. You forget you are watching puppets, excellent puppetry & acting. Well worth watching.

OK,, just to make this simple and save you some money, look at the negative reviews and I concur with them. I am a playful 49 year old who goes to all concerts, shows (Le Mis my favorite), going to matilda later today. My wife and I LEFT happily at intermission and we had 7 row center seats. I don't... Will make you sit and think. In parts quite emotional as you really do forget that these are puppets. Well worth seeing.

This is one of the best plays you will every see. I took all my kids, ranging in age from 10 to 15 and they were as stunned and as moved as their parents. It brings history alive with emotion sensitivity and guts. The staging is breathtaking and the story sad but ultimately joyous and thought provoking.

This show is amazing from start to finish - highly recommended for all ages. The puppets become real animals as you get lost in the story - my daughter and I loved it

When the play first started I wondered if I could really get past looking at the puppeteers and follow the characters and the story. No need to worry there - you get totally immersed. The storyline, acting, characters are so powerful you are carried away. There was not a dry eye in the house but absolutely everyone round us enjoyed... More
