War Horse was recommended by friends and it was a fantastic night out. The puppetry in the play was spellbinding and you actually believed that the puppets were real horses. It was a great play and I would strongly recommend it. More

If you want to be enthralled by a show, then we have just thoroughly enjoyed the 'Warhorse' show at the New London Theatre. If you are not aware, the 'warhorse' is a live size puppet, the likes of which we have never seen before. The puppetry of this show was excellent- we even thought the warhorse was actually breathing- phenominal work... More

There wasn't much music during the show compared to I to others, but it was very interesting. The emphasis was on the horses on the story and they truly bring them to life. As the story progressed I began to forget that the horses were being manipulated by people. The show was 3hours long, but it seemed a lot shorter.... More

We loved the workmanship in creating this production, but after 15 minutes we were bored with the plot. Know we are in the minority and most people love it. More

I think the goose steals the show, but it has to work hard. More

It's amazing how well the "puppeters" move the horses - so realistic. A wonderful experience. More

At absolutely outstanding piece of theatre. Complete joy from start to finish with plenty of emotion thrown in. Observed theatre-goers from 8 to 80+ who were totally mesmerised by the performance. Cannot recommend highly enough. If you are lucky enough to get tickets - don't miss the opportunity! More

This was a Christmas present to my husband, he was really looking forward to going. I do not understand why people rave about this show. It is diabolical! I don't see the point of the story, at which point was I supposed to cry? The horses and the 'puppetry' was amazing-I give them that. I was so bored I had... More

We were lucky to get two fantastic seats during our visit to london in March. What an emotional performance. i cannot rate this show highly enough. The puppeteers were absolutely magnificent, bringing the wire sculptured horses to life, creating realistic movement, breathing, sounds etc.The acting was very good and was interspersed with some singing to link the chapters.Loved the goose!
