Just been to see this amazing play. The horse puppetry is truly amazing..you get pulled in by the whole reality of the anti war feeling, even though none of the animals are real. The stage direction and props are so well done. Try and get seats as close to the front as possible, although we were in the back row... More

I took my father here for his birthday as he had always wanted to go. I wasn't really sure what to expect as I didn't know the story but I have to say it was fantastic. The production is excellent and it was a very emotional performance. The cast in this put on an excellent show and I'm so glad... More

We saw the show last night. It was simply amazing. The production was wonderful. There was humour, drama and extreme emotions. We were totally immersed in the plight of Joey, the horse and his owner. It is a shame it is closing soon. I would recommend anyone who can to see it.

Saw Warhorse last night. What a great show. The detail of the horses, the puppeteers in action and of course the story! I wasn't expecting to see the extra horses. The goose and comical bits were brilliant too. Great night out.

Ive seen a few musicals and plays over the years but War Horse is a unique experiance! The story line is very moving but the life size horse puppets are incrediable. The puppits are so life like you forget they are puppets!! The actors and puppiters are so talented you are gripped all the way through the show. The story... More

What a great show in a lovely theatre. I had thought from the seating plan that our seats would be a bit of a distance from the stage - how wrong was I? Unlike a lot of the older theatres, the seating is very close to the stage - too close if you are in a front row seat in... More

Beautifully acted. The folk singer who accompanies many of the scenes was very good. The puppetry is masterful. It is amazing how the scenes "change" but without the need of backgrounds or indeed curtains to hide the changes. Highly recommended. Don't miss it so hurry as ends on March 11th I think.
