Tried for ages to get tickets at a reasonable price ,tried the theatre, box office in Leicester square etc . Then was passing one day went in still no joy , talked to staff and was told that if you come early on the Saturday morning ( they open at 10 ) that they have tickets for that day (visit... More

The show in itself was brilliant, acting on point and the way they moved those horses, you actually start believing it's real. This is worth a watch...however...I went with my girlfriend and we're mid-20's and open to many different things. This did get slightly slow during the middle and it did drag on a tad. For us, maybe too long... More

Well what can I say apart from WOW! Artisticly so well done by everyone involved, to capture the soul and the spirit of the horse is pure genius. Carried out by Master puppeteers. As for the storyline as one would expect dealing with front line WW1, it has it's highs and lows, (paper tissues my be require for several of... More

i have seen both the show in London and the subsequent movie. both were excellent The show is unique and the movie was thoroughly enjoyable with beautiful scenery. If you can see both and if you are in London see the show which is by far one of the better offerings in the West End at the moment

I bought tickets for my husbands birthday and we were not disappointed. The show is fab and I would recommend you go and see it. All the performances were great and you really do get drawn in...you don't see the people !!

I went to see The War Horse on a very last-minute decision (I bought the ticket half an hour before the show) - I am very glad I did that. I have not read the book, nor seen the film before seeing the play. Story was very catching and the amazing puppetry and good acting helped to get fully immersed... More

We spent ages deciding which show to see and were so pleased we chose War Horse. It was so clever and entertaining. The whole family enjoyed it including our 13 and 16 year old boys! My husband thought that parts of the story were cut short but I expect that was to keep the play running time shorter. I haven't... More

Was it just me or........ Did you get mixed up in some parts as to who was who? Were certain important things just not clear enough to the audience? Was it "dull"? - costumes all the same colour and drab, a bare stage etc Did you think that the boy's relationship with the horse was borderline unnatural? Did you wonder... More

Nice to see the play is still going strong. I read the book years ago. The play kinda delivers in places but its really quite dull and the acting was definitely dodgy in places. I was more transfixed by the amazing puppetry of the horse than the story, which isn't a good sign I guess. Worth seeing, but not mind... More
