Came here for a Christmas dinner. The service was lovely, the food nice and the bar staff friendly. There was a power cut for around half an hour which was hilarious but otherwise very good

Not only is the valley a stunning setting to watch football, but the story behind the fans fight to return to the valley is something that is really special indeed.

We visited the stadium back in February for the first time using a friends membership and was pleasantly surprised by how much my wife and I enjoyed our time. There was a great family feeling around the entire club and as well as enjoying the match we were looked after extremely well by several members of staff including a lovely... More

We visited Charlton with Rotherham United. You could tell they had been a premier league club by the ground but the away end was dated. Also the snack bar was outside and expensive, with no pies left and only hotdogs which were average to say the least - I bought a 330 ml bottle of bulmers at £3.80 in a... More

Was in London and wanted to catch a game. Couldn't get into a Premier league game but was put onto Charlton Athletic from a mate. The ground was easy to reach, staff were friendly, a good atmosphere outside and inside the stadium. The stadium was fantastic. Saw a good game versus Blackpool. Only downside was a poor hot chocolate bought... More

Visiting for the weekend we decided to get tickets for a local football game. Collected tickets at the collection point and the gentleman was very helpful, indicating where we needed to go, without asking. We bought drinks which price wise is on par with what you'd pay at venues. Seats were good with a good view of the pitch. Very... More

Charlton Athletic Football Club now houses a football museum in the upper part of the stadium, and is very much worth a visit. Aside from the standard artefacts and materials you would expect to find in such a museum there are a number of other very interesting additions such as former players' medals, comic book type posters of club legends,... The Valley is a good ground. Not a top ground but has excellent staff who are always happy to help. Not really that expensive usually. The Valley is very close to Charlton railway station with good links to central London and Kent. This ground is also very good for neutral football fans like me. If you are fairly local like... Nice stadium and I would recommend to visit if you're nearby. Good pubs and restaurants nearby to visit also.
