We went to the evening performance on Saturday, the 16th May. The theatre was packed. The story centres around the formation of the group and its eventual problems with each other and the tax man. Lots of their greatest hits are featured. The lead singer was excellent. If I could criticise anything it would be the phoney and unconvincing attempts... More

The story line is a strong one that reviews the progress of the band members from their schooldays, mapping their successful and less successful ventures. This great cast played their parts very well; each as believable as the next, drawing you into the story. The fact that they played their instruments live, sung on perfect pitch and delivered their lines... More

Was really looking forward to seeing this again after seeing show in New York which was amazing , couldn't wait .threatre a dump. God knows what tourist think about it , not a very good impression of London . Show was ok and sort of enjoyed it , but nothing would compare to John Lloyd young.

What an amazing vibrant, foot stamping joyous evening at the theatre I don't know the name of the main singer (13 May) (playing Frankie) but he has such a voice & is clearly passionate about everything he does on stage. All the other singers / actors etc were all superb What a super theatre visit. Do you really appreciate just... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
