I took my 16 year old daughter for her birthday. Reiko explained everything with very simple and clear instruction. We both thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The Japanese omelette was a favourite though tasting all the different fish was interesting too. We both feel confident in giving sushi making a go at home. It was also very sociable sitting down afterwards... More

A very different way to spend a day in London. Besides learning how to cook the rice in a proper pan (I don' t have one yet, hi hi hi hi) I ate a lot of delicious sushi and sashimi. It was interested to feel how people from other culture behave in such pleasure situation. Finally, Reiko and her assistant... More

As always: excellent and personalised course! I had the chance to bring a friend with me this time. It's even more exciting and funnier! Reiko is helpful and caring as usually and ensures that you learn properly. Also I have to advise that the gourmet class mixed sushi along and sake tasting so if you don't like alcohol avoid the... Did Reiko's introductory class a few weeks ago - treated to this by my wife! And what a treat it was, even for a kitchen dilettante like myself. Learned a lot and have been putting it all into practice, from simple stocks, soups and dressings, all the way to delicious gyoza, teppanjaki, sushi rolls etc. Highly recommended for the learning,... I bought this as a present for my partner who recently discovered his love for japanese food. Although he has no cooking skills whatsoever, he partook in everything Reiko taught us and we both thoroughly enjoyed the learning experience. The japanese omelette was definitely a favourite and making the sushi was great fun. After having tasted everything as we made... More

Reiko is a wonderful hostess. We enjoyed making and eating beautiful sushi and learning more about Japanese food and culture. The Sake tasting was outstanding - Oliver is knowledgeable and generous with his time. my husband and I brought this as a joint gift and would definitely return for more. Highly recommended!

My boyfriend and I went to the Sushi and Sashimi class in December 2014 - as an early Christmas present for the both of us. We went to Japan in 2014 and since then have always wanted to find an authentic, short course in order to get an introduction into how to prepare/ cook Japanese cuisine. Reiko's class was perfect... My husband and I took the sushi and sashimi class, as we have travelled to Japan before and were interested in how to make Japanese food. Reiko explained everything from scratch, including where to source the correct ingredients and how to make sushi in the traditional way. We have already had a sushi evening at home and loved the results!

I've been a fan of japanese food for ages and got a lesson as a gift from my wife. Reiko is a great host and teacher... and I can't wait for our first sushi dinner party at home. I'm now planning to attend another course with her later in the year. Arigato Reiko!
