My husband and I booked a private tour with Tours from Antiquity in March 2015 and it was the best tour we have been on and worth every penny! We dislike large groups and prefer to either take private tours or small group ones, we waited to late and had a restricted schedule and the team with Tours from Antiquity... More

Our family of four, with two tween girls, took a day trip from London to tour Stonehenge and Bath and it was definitely a highlight of our trip! Edward was a great educator and conversationalist - I don't think we would have enjoyed Stonehenge as much without his explanations of the history of the site and excellent guided tour around... We had the most wonderful experience in London recently. We booked a day trip from London to Stonehenge and Bath..small van and guide and archaeologist Edward was fabulous...so knowledgeable and fun. Could not have had a better tour and guide.

We cannot say enough good things about this tour! If you are truly interested in history, and want the pleasure of having a small group experience, Edward Shepard, archeologist, gives you an amazing day filled with little known facts about the entire area around Stonehenge and Bath. We also had my 81 year old mother-in-law with us in a wheelchair... More

My husband and teenage son (15) and I took this trip last week. Highly recommended. Edward is an intelligent, thoughtful and articulate guide whose life passion for archaeology and for this particular tour come through in every word he speaks. If you want a true understanding of these sites, take this tour.

My family and I were in a group of 8 for this tour. We visited Stonehenge, Avebury and Bath. We were part of a small group with Edward Shepard as our guide for the day. Edward was truly passionate and enthusiastic about each site. He gave great historically significant details and made everything interesting. We had so much fun on... More

We took the day tour to Stonehenge, Avebury and Bath and loved it. Our guide, Edward, provided an exceptional commentary. We really appreciated being in a small group, which made maneuvering much easier, and we were able to take in more sights -- the tour also included Woodhenge and West Kennet Long Barrow. The minibus was comfortable and afforded good... More

I went on a one day tour in summer that encompassed Stonehenge, Bath and Avebury. The tour starts from South Kensington opposite the main entrance to the Natural History Museum. True to its name, it is a small group tour (our mini bus had 12 people) and its tour leaders are qualified archaeologists. Edward; our tour leader was a storehouse... More

Thank you for your review. I am happy you enjoyed your tour with us and with our archaeologist Edward. I am sorry that the A/C was not working correctly when you travelled with us. I can confirm that for 2015 Tours From Antiquity will only be using new executive mini-coaches, all with full A/C, perfect for the summer months. Thanks... More

This was just an awesome day, and a very easy daytrip from London without having to rent a car, etc. Highly recommend both Stonehenge and Bath combination trip. Edward was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. Great to have an actual archaeologist as our guide. Great site seeing and guiding, and also time to explore on our own. Our... More

Tripadvisor had pointed me in the direction of TFA when researching Stonehenge & Bath tours and the idea of an archaelogist led trip had me booking our family in for the Dec 27th tour. We started off from central London nice and early around 7:30am in a new minibus; our group topped off at 17. We first stopped at Woodhenge... More
