We choose Stonehedge, Bath and Avebury tour and Edward was the guide. I don't have too much to add to the other visitor comment about the beauty of those places, everything is true; I want to write about the common sense that Edward our guide has. He is very knowledgeable and passionate, but also he is not the type "teacher... More

We were so thrilled with this tour. Paying for a tour has always been something I avoided, partly because I am always watching the budget, but also because I felt that if I paid for something, I would expect a lot. This tour delivered completely, and felt it was so worth the cost. And this was the worst weather of... More

I am so glad I choose to book this tour. It was a small bus with about 17 of us. Edward was our tour leader and he was easy to talk to and ask any questions. I did other tours around Europe in large groups and this tour with a person who was interested in the topic & passionate made... More

Edward was a wonderful tour guide with unlimited patience and knowledge of the sites. Stonehenge had always been on my bucket list but Avebury is not to be missed. This day tour was a hi light of our trip for the whole family. Well worth the cost!

Edward made this trip so very worthwhile even though there were small children on the trip...I do not hate children, I'm a teacher, but I chose this trip because it was the most educational and historically minded sounding tour. I have to teach the context of Stonehenge as a part of the AP Art History curriculum. When I saw a... More

On Sunday (August 9th) we visited three sites: Stonehenge, Bath and Avebury. The experience was fantastic! The guide, Edward, was extremely prepared as he is one of the archaeologists who is working on the site, and told us everything about the history of the places and the recent discoveries. The tour was well organized with a limited number of people,... More

When I went to London I wanted to visit also Stonehenge, Bath and Avebury as I'm interested in Prehistory and History, but I didn't have enough money to do all these trips. What a wonderful surprise when I discovered Tours from Antiquity! I was able to visit all in just one trip. Yes, it's quite a short time but very... More

This tour is definitely a must if you are fortunate enough to visit London. It is a chance not only to get out of the London congestion for a day and see the wonderful English countryside, but you also learn a lot about archeology and the different (credible) hypotheses about Stonehenge and other excavation sites. Our tour guide, Edward Shepherd... More

My family told my husband and me that Stonehenge wasn't worth visiting. They said it was small and unimpressive. The teacher in me decided to find a tour that offered more history and came across Tours from Antiquity. After reading the reviews we decided to book the trip despite the negative feedback from our family. Edward (our tour guide) turned... More

After months of researching this trip, my friends and I were particularly interested in the Tours From Antiquity day tour because it was an archaeologist guided excursion. We were not disappointed! Not only did we have the advantage of a knowledgeable guide, Ed was also friendly and personable, and made every attempt to be accommodating on this trip. We got... More
