Attended the matinee performance (last Wednesday) as a teacher, with 2 year 6 classes as a treat after the dreaded SATs tests of the previous week. We were, quite simply, blown away-staff and children alike. Emma Hatton is a truly amazing actor/singer who undoubtably created the 'goose bump' effect during the mesmerising 'Defying Gravity'. Sophie Linder-Lee was the understudy for... More

This was my first ever musical and it was fantastic! The whole production was magical and I will definitely be returning to see it again.

This has got to be one the best shows I've seen. Been two times and still love it! It has been running for a number of years which shows its success. The location is central and you can't miss it as you try and find it. The music, acting, setting and theatre make for a wonderful experience If you have... More

A great show that still looks good despite the number of years it has been running. The Apollo Theatre is good but was a little on the cool side. (Make sure you have a light jacket if you feel the cold) There is a lot of on-going renovation work going on in Victoria and might put some people off the... More

Never seen the wizard of oz so didn't know the story of the evil witch, wasn't expecting much but found the show very entertaining. A real emotional roller coaster with plenty of laughs. Suitable for all the family and some amazing talent!

I have wanted to see this musical for ages and it exceeded all of my expectations. We both found the staff at the theatre to be lovely, cheery and helpful. The show is one not to be missed if in London good for all ages.

I have seen Wicked 4 times now, each time it gets better and better. The actors and actresses are amazing and give it them all. The theatre is ideally located outside Victoria Station. The only draw back is late attendees and the usher walking around during the performance. Otherwise it's wickedly wicked abc great for all of the family of... More

My daughter booked this as a birthday present surprise, well I was overwhelmed by this show it's just fantastic, yes it focuses on the wicked witch of the west but the story is about her. I loved the music, costumes were just beautiful and the scene where Elphaba flies on her broom was mind blowing. It's a must see show,... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
