It was a great experience - so much history - never realized such wonderful historic pubs still existed and so grateful for the info. Our guide John was absolutely wonderful, nothing to much trouble and so full of knowledge - will certainly try another walk.

Took the ' Drink London' tour on Saturday with a few friends. We met our guide George at St Pauls Tube station, then the tour began! The rest of the party were mainly couples. We listened carefully at all the points of interest both at the pubs and in between. George was passionate and very knowledgeable, especially architecturally! We went... More

A really enjoyable tour to a variety of interesting and distinctive pubs - with their own unique history, decor and quirks. The walking route; which was not overly long, also included interesting and educational points of interest, which may otherwise easily bypass the average tourist. Our guide was engaging and very knowledgeable of London - and not just the pubs!... More

This was bought as a gift and what a good one! Although both familiar with this part of London we still visited pubs that we had never thought about entering and every one was a gem in its own way. Our guide was George and he was incredibly knowledgeable about all the pubs and everywhere in between and great fun... More

I took a party of 10 friends from the Midlands down to London for this tour, which had been recommended to me and we were not disappointed. We met our knowledgeable guide, John, in The George in Souhwark which was followed by a tour of a number of wonderful proper pubs around London whose history is facinating not to mention... More

We had a lovely afternoon touring historic London pubs with George. It was very informative and the pub selection was great. It was a fantastic way to see some of London's oldest pubs! Would recommend it for sure!

This is a superb afternoon stroll around the streets of London. The guide John provided an excellent tour combining a wealth of knowledge and humour concerning the city and its past glories - Samuel Pepys, Dickens, Shakespeare, Dr Johnson, Sweeney Todd and Sir Christopher Wren all feature prominently - along with some fantastic old pubs off the beaten track. I... More

A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon enhanced by the guide John who had a wealth of knowledge not only about the pubs we visited but also the City of London in general. Even though I am a Londoner myself we went to places that I did not know existed even though they had been there for centuries! I would strongly recommend this... More

John combined a tour of several pubs with fascinating historical and architectural tales and no shortage of wit. He dug out some real gems huddled amongst the modern office buildings in the heart of the City. By the end of the tour I was looking forward to discovering more of the old pubs of London. A thoroughly enjoyable few hours... More
