Went to see 'Black Cat Cabaret' on a Friday night. Very cool venue especially the Speigaltent - where the show was. Nice bar, fairly quick service considering the crowds. I would recommend queuing early for your show as there is no reserved seating and if you are at the back of the queue you wont get great seats.

My daughter & I were going for the day to south bank & stumbled upon the udderbelly festival, it was fab, although we didn't go to see anything we'd just missed the kiddie thing at 3pm. But we stayed for drinks, it was quite expensive, £3.50 for a crusty piece of pizza, (which we didn't buy) £7.00 for a pimms... More

I am really impress with the organization of this festival.. Many shows to choose, good prices, good drinks , lovely staff... And Very CLEAN Toiletts... Even if you don't have any tickets for a show, just come over for a drink outside of the tent. Very relaxed and chilled atmosphere.

Really enjoyed myself. I went to see Simple Space it was amazing, they were flipping and bending themselves in all different ways that you would never dream off. They kept it competitive within themselves and really kept you on the edge of your seat. It was only an hour but well worth a watch.

Visited the Udderbelly festival on for a Saturday evening out. As soon as we arrived the atmosphere was brilliant - great chilled and relaxed festival feel. Enjoyed some drinks in the sun (pricey but it is central London) before going into the cow to watch The best of the comedy store. The acts were really funny and seeing three for... More

Came here for bank holiday weekend, stumbled across it. The sun was shining so had a jug of Pimms between three of us. Expensive but hey it is London! Didn't see any shows. Great atmosphere. Toilets were clean, had plenty of loo roll and were free to use. The gin bar was not open whilst we were there. Would benefit... More

I brought 2 tickets for the circus maximus Sunday final as something different for my partners 30th birthday.. The website advertised the show started at 6pm and when we arrived at 5:40 was told it started at 5:30 and we were in fact late!! There were lots of people in the same boat which meant we have to wait outside... More

Visited udderbelly on south bank, need to highlight how great and entertaining Zoe Lyons and Jarred Christmas were. Didn't think much of Paul Sinha and Ian Moore expected more from them after how good the first acts were.

The best circus/acrobatic/cheer-leading performance! Excellent!!! Better than Cirque and other recent visiting gymnasts to our shores.

Staying in Southbank

Neighborhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
