Visited on passing along the embankment on a Saturday lunchtime and went in as it was clearly popular and busy. Got a table fairly quickly. Friendly, helpful staff and the food was quick to arrive. Not the best sandwiches ever, but the other meals looked very good. Lots of Sherlock memorabilia on the walls. Would go here again.

This genuine English pub is beautifully decorated and sits near the Embankment. Their breakfast is generous and delicious. The staff are friendly and fun.

The theme of the pub is mostly a hat tip to theatrical productions of Sherlock Holmes - the Playhouse theater is just down the street, This pub has a great location and is always full of tourists. I really don't recommend it for food. it is a bit of a tourist trap. They have a great selection of traditional Brit... More

The Pub was very close to our hotel and decided to try it for lunch. We were not disappointed. The food and atmosphere were good. The service was also efficient. Would definitely visit again when in London.

Nice pub and certainly full of English charm. Although not in Baker Street it is full of Sherlock Holmes memorabilia and the beer and food are great.

We visited London in March and on the night before we left to return to the U.S. we decided to stop in at this unique pub. It basically is decorated with a theme or "homage" to the illustrious Sherlock Holmes. The period atmosphere is wonderful and we enjoyed every minute of being in this very neat pub.

I'm a big Sherlock fan so we stopped in for dinner at this Sherlock Holmes-themed pub. The service was a bit slow, but the food was decent and we ended up sitting at a table next to a couple who lived only a couple hours from us back home which was cool. Loved the decorations and theme of the place... More

I went with a group of around 15 friends for lunch on a Saturday. We had obviously booked as we were such a large group. We skipped starters and had mains. I had the roast dinner. The portion size wasn't great but it was really tasty. The tradition at the Sherlock Holmes is to have their wonderful filled Yorkshire Puddings... More

Looking for a good pub close to Charing Cross? Sherlock Holmes offers good pub food, in a fun and social atmosphere. To compliment the good tasting food, there is also lots of Sherlock Holmes memorabilia around the pub. The staff were also very friendly and courteous. Highly recommended for good tasting food in a fun-filled atmosphere, while the staff ensure... More

10 of us went here for a Saturday evening meal earlier this month. We chose it as we were going on the Ghost Bus tour and this venue is opposite the bus stop for the Ghost Bus. The food was good traditional pub grub, which was tasty and served up very quickly after our order was taken. The staff were... More
