Nice to have a drink in a pub with this title/name but to be honest i'ts nothing to write home about. The few tables were nice to sit at outside when the smell from the drains is not coming your way..

The lamb steak, British burger, fish and chips were excellent! The rhubarb and apple crumble is a must. Plus there is a Sherlock Holmes museum right inside.

This is a great spot. Around the corner from Trafalgar and the National Gallery, you would think this would be filled with tourists...but surprisingly it was filled with locals. Prices were reasonable, staff were friendly. There is also a tiny museum (more like a display) dedicated to Holmes himself.

If you are a Sherlock Holmes fan you must go here. We only found out about this because we went on the Sherlock Holmes walking tour which was amazing. After the tour, we returned and booked a seat for a meal for a few days later. Rather than eating in the pub downstairs, we booked a seat in the restaurant... More

When I had dinner here, I did not realize there were two different areas, the restaurant and the pub. Well I had dinner at the restaurant and honestly I would not recommend it. The staff was not nice at all when we paid and left gratuity, also, while we were there, they turned people away in a very bad way,... More

I took my American brother and his wife to lunch and the sandwiches in the bar were tasty (my beef and chutney on a baguette was great) and reasonably priced. The guy at the bar, George, was attentive and engaging and came by to see if the food was OK. And we could watch Sherlock on the telly and look... More

First off...the restaurant and pub are separate and this review is for the pub. The restaurant was staffed with very rude people. They turned us away since we had no reservation and were not nice about it...and we saw empty tables. They were just rude. SO we ended up eating in the pub. THE PUB IS GREAT. The staff is... More

While touring London we saw this stunning themed pub so thought we would try it out. The pub is beautifully decorated but the food is dry and tasteless, the fish and chips is alright.

Spend time wandering around all the rooms, and make sure you visit the shop next door, then head downstairs to the toilets (very authentio) and theres another room down there to look in aswell

Bad service, waiting for part of our meal for ages, staff blaming each other. Shame as it's a wonderful quirky looking place.
