Ordered food as part of a group, on a semi busy day, and 1 of the meals was forgotten. I asked at the bar twice as to its whereabouts and the bar staff got very defensive. It took them another 15 minutes to bring the food, by which point we wanted to leave as the rest of the group had... More

Had a colleague with me, his first trip to London, so we left our hotel and walked across the road to The Sherlock. Atmosphere was buzzing (London Marathon)! Had a great meal, he had bangers & mash, I had the vegetarian option. Both were really tasty, and quick service. We split a bottle of wine, and didn't feel rushed at... More

mediocre food, expensive and terrible service from the manageress who failed to professionally deal with our complaint about coffee provision being suspended during our meal. overall a terrible meal and there is no one to complain to as the manageress is the main problem.

Went in for a late lunch to the restaurant upstairs. Abruptly told "sit any of those over there". Waited 10-15 mins for someone to take drinks order so gave up and walked out.

Went in for a bite, waited to be seated, once seated we waited 20mins until we ordered dinks. Ordered food, got our starters 10mins after(which were good) but waited 50+ mins for our main dishes. Go up to cancel tr order cuz the kitchen was closing by then and come to find out that the waitress never put our order... More

Stopped by Sherlock on our second visit to London. We'd remembered liking it before (5 years ago), but this time I was most impressed by the prices. Since it was our last night in London, we'd already visited numerous pubs. The pints here ended up being the cheapest we'd had! Great selection, charming staff, and super location (half a minute... This was one of the final pubs I stopped at during my two day trip through the pubs of London and I was happy that I saved it for the last day. The food was better than most of the other pubs I had ate at so that was am immediate improvement. I walked by the Sherlock multiple times and... More

My wife and I got here our first day in London, wandering around the riverfront. We wanted to have a "real" English pub experience and although this wasn't quite it, we had fun all the same. The people were very nice, the food was good not great, but reasonable enough as far as London goes. The best part was interacting... More

Highly recommended if looking for the traditional english pub. The service was great, beer spot on and the cheese and pickle sandwich was to die for. The place was buzzing and I could have stayed all afternoon if I hadn't made other plans. Pubs like this are few and far between, keep up the good work. I will return.
