Food was good, service was excellent and ale selections broad. It was a perfect way to take a break mid-day and relax!

We had a meal and drink at this pub and unfortunately weren't very impressed. The hand pull beer had a vinegar taste and was sent back, and the food wasn't much better. We had the Beef and Ale pie with fresh veggies. The pie was pretty good although a bit small but the veggies were completely dehydrated as though they... More

Went there after a walking tour, actually expected more a Holmes related theme. They had a "Sherlock" DVD on the TVs, but it was only playing the opening screen, not any actual episodes. Food was decent, prices reasonable. Service was good for 10 PM.

My husband and I knew we had to eat here on our first night in London, and we are so happy we did! This place is a pub and restaurant. You can get food in the pub section just by sitting down at a table. There is also a designated restaurant upstairs that is usually a little bit more empty... More

We were walking from Trafalgar Square to our hotel (which had so far provided us with a weeks supply of good evening meals) when we came across The Sherlock Holmes. We should have kept going. The beer was great, the service from the barman upstairs was also great. The food however was poor. It wasn't a difficult selection to get... More

Nice to have a drink in a pub with this title/name but to be honest i'ts nothing to write home about. The few tables were nice to sit at outside when the smell from the drains is not coming your way..

The lamb steak, British burger, fish and chips were excellent! The rhubarb and apple crumble is a must. Plus there is a Sherlock Holmes museum right inside.

This is a great spot. Around the corner from Trafalgar and the National Gallery, you would think this would be filled with tourists...but surprisingly it was filled with locals. Prices were reasonable, staff were friendly. There is also a tiny museum (more like a display) dedicated to Holmes himself.

If you are a Sherlock Holmes fan you must go here. We only found out about this because we went on the Sherlock Holmes walking tour which was amazing. After the tour, we returned and booked a seat for a meal for a few days later. Rather than eating in the pub downstairs, we booked a seat in the restaurant... More
