This was a fun place to eat after a day of sight-seeing. I enjoyed to atmosphere. The portions are big and the tables are tiny. Overall, it is a fun, quick meal. I appreciated that the staff was a bit friendlier than some of the other places we had eaten at previously. I ordered the fish and chips and while... More

I visited this pub for brunch and was glad that I decided to stop by. The food is good and it has a good selection of english beers. The ambience is nice and if the weather permits it is just as nice to sit outside and watch the world go by while you take your time off.

A friend and I had lunch here and it was the perfect place to take a break and plan out the rest of our day. The food was hot, tasted good (can't go wrong with fish and chips), and came out quickly.

Great selection of ales, lagers and ciders! The staff helped choose a very nice ale and it had a great atmosphere in the pub.

We were in London last week and given that we were staying on Trafalgar Square and I'm a huge Sherlock fan... this was a given. We stopped in around 6:00 and were lucky to find a small table. Food was okay (roast beef, fish and chips) and the beer was cold. We were on the first floor where another guest... More

We stopped here after a long day of sightseeing. We were lucky enough to get a table as the place was packed. We queued at the bar for a bit, but had friendly service. We had some fries and onion rings which were good. The bathroom was disgusting and typically is. The pub is nothing special but beer is beer!

This is one of the worst experience in a restaurant. We were a group with a reservation for 15 people, we arrived 15 min late and we lost the reservation. Finally, we found a table on the bar. After waiting 1h and a half, this is the resume: Beer:Hot. Incredible Burger: Burned. See the picture. Fish and fries: Frozen fish... More

We came across this pub and decided to have a drink in here and lunch. The staff were very helpful, attentive, and thoughtful so the service was really good something that seems to be dying out in other places so we were pleasently surprised. Drinks order taken and arrived quite quickly. Meal was really nice (fish and chips and lamb... More

We went to the restaurant due to the interest of our daughter who loves the show! and it appeared to be a fun pub. Very interesting inside. We ate upstairs. One waitress, meal very average. Didn't want to sell us an appetizer as one of our entrees. Probably more appropriate for having a beer and hanging out vs. a restaurant!

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighborhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
