There's a world of enjoyment at Battersea Park Children's Zoo. From feeding the farm animals, spying on the meerkats in the secret lookout, children will have hours of fun. With monkeys, snakes, pigs, donkeys, ring tailed lemurs, parrots, rabbits, emu, chipmunks, coati, wallabies and chickens, plus a fun-packed adventure playground with a real tractor and fire engine, it's a great family day out.

Fantastic day at Battersea park. Small variety of animals to see and others to pat. Great playground for kids. Fresh air. Great walking premises and cycling! Pack your food with you. The canteen food is awful. Young kids love it!

Entry for family ( 2 adults + 2 kids ) is 29£ and then there is parking fee for £9.40 for upto 4 hrs. The zoo hardly has any animals mostly squirrels rabbit etc. It is more like a petting zoo, but you can't feed the animals. Lots of area for the kids to play so the kids had a... More

If you are visiting London you have to visit this place. It's a compact zoo but there is a good selection of animals that you can actually see and get quite close too! There are LOADS of swings slides and toys for children to play with. The only downside is the coffee shop is a bit disappointing. But definitely worth... More

Have been here 3 times already, celebrated my daughter's birthday here few years back and thought to come and visit again, particularly to see her 'birthday brick'. Range of animals is great, especially for little kids and adults alike.. Animals that you can pet too. Also glad to see they kept the birthday brick so my daughter could take a... More

This na alternative to the much bigger London Zoo, and it is specially good for younger children. There is a nice playground and the kids can help feeding the animals.

My family visited the children's zoo with a 2year old (27 months) and a newborn. Good access for pushchairs and prams, and toddler height exhibits are a plus. It's also not too big or intimidating as a venue and has a brilliant playground area with a real fire engine to climb into and water play that would be great in... More

Battersea Zoo is a nice little day out with the young ones. There are a mixture of farm and smaller exotics animals with a range of feeding times along with lots of play options for the kids including a real fire engine, some mini tractors, a sand pit and several climbing frames. As long as the rain stays away, this... More

lovely surroundings, very nice selection of animals, quite close to central london, so you can easily make a quick slot in your day to visit, obviously no where near London zoo size or variety, but this is a casual visit to see some really nice animals and the kids will love it.

Went to Battersea Park Children's Zoo on a chilly Saturday afternoon with our one year old. Looking at some of the negative reviews you can see where they are coming from but can also disagree. Yes it's compact and not a bargain to get into £8.95 per adult (but children under 2 free). It's not overwhelmed with animals and no... More

We visited the zoo on a rainy day.... And I am sorry to say that it was very disappointing. It is a small zoo so we were not expecting to see many animals but we hardly saw any!!!! I do not know were the animals were hiding but appart from 1 monkey, a few rabbits, ducks, and a couple of... More
