There's a world of enjoyment at Battersea Park Children's Zoo. From feeding the farm animals, spying on the meerkats in the secret lookout, children will have hours of fun. With monkeys, snakes, pigs, donkeys, ring tailed lemurs, parrots, rabbits, emu, chipmunks, coati, wallabies and chickens, plus a fun-packed adventure playground with a real tractor and fire engine, it's a great family day out.

Its a small zoo but still you pay at the entrance, there is a cafe where you can find sandwiches/coffee/ice cream etc. There is also a playground where kids always love. Do not forget to buy some spare t-shirts as accidents happen. Its quite and calm as kids here are almist under 6 years old. Not complicated, easy to explore..... More

We visited on a lovely sunny day and had a great time. We used the buy one get one free option as travelling by SouthWest trains. The zoo was very sweet all animals are well cared for. The play parks are fabulous, lots of areas to cater for all ages, Our two year old enjoyed playing in the sand pits.... More

If you have a few hours to devote to young children and are in London then this is the perfect place to go for a couple of hours. As well as animals and birds and snakes and rabbits there are electric tugs on a small boating pond and a creative sand pit (go there and you will see what I... More

This zoo is just fab ! It's completely set up for children. There is lots to do and see. Well worth a visit. They need a larger cafe !

LOVE This place but a) it's expensive - so plan to go for the whole day. We usually only go a couple of times each summer during the school holidays, only one parent goes, and takes a picnic. We're local - if it were more affordable we'd go more often. b) Agree with previous reviewer 'Lose the Paid for Rides'.... More

It's a great place for a small budgeted day out but is quite small! When taking young children however there is nothig to worry about other than possible occupying them afterwards, although being in battersea park where there is a lot to offer is a brilliant thing!

First visit to battersea today and decided to meet friends at the farm/zoo. What a lovely little attraction within the larger park. It has small animals like guinea pigs, rabbits, donkeys and also the newer more popular mammals like meerkats and miniature monkeys. Lots of play areas for kids and the grounds/ toilets were clean and tidy. The cafe was... More

We love Battersea zoo and often go in the summer holidays. Its really good for small children and its worth finding out the feeding times of the animals. Food is good and reasonably priced. My one bugbear is all of the paid for rides all over the place. Having spent money to get into the zoo, I really don't like... More

im not from London so being an outsider i was just unfamiliar with how large the park was going to be, i should have done my homework, o well, just make sure you park on the right end of the park for access to the zoo, i ended up parking somewhere in another corner of the park, and walked a... What a wonderful little zoo in the middle of Battersea Park. Just the right size for little legs to walk around. Staff were really friendly. The play areas were excellent. Enough animals to see for a great afternoon out. Will be going back very soon.
