There's a world of enjoyment at Battersea Park Children's Zoo. From feeding the farm animals, spying on the meerkats in the secret lookout, children will have hours of fun. With monkeys, snakes, pigs, donkeys, ring tailed lemurs, parrots, rabbits, emu, chipmunks, coati, wallabies and chickens, plus a fun-packed adventure playground with a real tractor and fire engine, it's a great family day out.

This was a great surprise dicovery while wandering around battersea park. It's aimed at kids but it's two adults enjoyed it. If you are visiting the park then this is well worth a visit. Adults will enjoy it as much as kids.

Though I haven't actually been into the place for many years, I used to come here all the time when I was a kid, and looking at it from the outside, it hasn't changed much, so still magical, great for the kids etc. Battersea Park holds so much for a family day out, and if you have kids, then this... I went to this zoo yesterday with my boyfriend and despite the cold weather i've enjoyed watching the monkeys and meerkats jumping around. It was really entertaining when it was feeding time for the animals. I'd prefer this zoo than London zoo if you were taking your kids for a zoo day out. Couples would enjoy this too. I ended... Visited this zoo and paid around £9.00 each for adult admission. It may have been the fact that we are in the middle of Winter, but the only member of staff I saw was the person taking the admission fees, and the whole place seemed in need of some maintenance and renewal work. We saw a few monkeys, a couple... More

Went out to this zoo and was surprised with the animals selection the letting farm animals and the snakes and meerkats. Additionally the best part for us were the park grounds and the outdoor play areas. There is a sand play area, a fire engine, a digger which the kids can sit on and scoop, swings, climbing frame, little boat... More

we stayed in a nearby hotel. We paid £24 for a family of 3. I think the vast majority of users ae locals who have an annual pass and use it as a kids playground, as the playground is good. Animals seem well cared for but no "showstoppers"! kangaroos, otters, donkeys, rabbits, meerkats etc

I had to entertain 2 little girls age 8 and 9 whilst the boys were at the football in Wembley. We sat on the train and I let them take a look at the south eastern rail discount book. They picked out where we were going. We hopped on the train and had a lovely walk through the park to... More

We visited the zoo using a discount voucher and unfortunately we chose a very wet Sunday to visit. The website postcode doesn't actually get you to quite the right place, you need to locate the Chelsea gate entrance into the park (maybe if you can search for the Battersea peace pagoda on your satnav?). There is a reasonable sized pay... More

We first visited this specialist Children's Zoo a year or so ago and our grandchildren never forgot it, often asking "when can we go again?". Accordingly, we visited again recently and found it as charming and instructive as ever. Situated within the grounds of Battersea Park, it is thus handy for public transport and well signposted . There is good... More

This half term you can buy discounted tickets on South West trains and also use the 2 for 1 vouchers in the zoo. Consequently I visited with 2 grown up daughters and 4 young grandsons (eldest 7) We ate lunch in a cheap (but tasty food) cafe not far from Battersea Park station (cross the road and to the left...
