There's a world of enjoyment at Battersea Park Children's Zoo. From feeding the farm animals, spying on the meerkats in the secret lookout, children will have hours of fun. With monkeys, snakes, pigs, donkeys, ring tailed lemurs, parrots, rabbits, emu, chipmunks, coati, wallabies and chickens, plus a fun-packed adventure playground with a real tractor and fire engine, it's a great family day out.

lovely surroundings, very nice selection of animals, quite close to central london, so you can easily make a quick slot in your day to visit, obviously no where near London zoo size or variety, but this is a casual visit to see some really nice animals and the kids will love it.

Went to Battersea Park Children's Zoo on a chilly Saturday afternoon with our one year old. Looking at some of the negative reviews you can see where they are coming from but can also disagree. Yes it's compact and not a bargain to get into £8.95 per adult (but children under 2 free). It's not overwhelmed with animals and no... More

We visited the zoo on a rainy day.... And I am sorry to say that it was very disappointing. It is a small zoo so we were not expecting to see many animals but we hardly saw any!!!! I do not know were the animals were hiding but appart from 1 monkey, a few rabbits, ducks, and a couple of... More

Went to visit with our 18mth old and 6 year old during start of autumn. Not a huge zoo, which is actually perfect for the more younger children,as they would have become tired of looking at too many animals. Brilliant play area - which was probably their best part of the visit. An old fire engine, wooden adventure play area,... More

This small zoo is nicely kept and you can read information on all the animals there. There aren't many so it doesn't take very long to visit. You can watch the animals being fed at different times, that are displayed on a board and on the leaflet you can collect at the entrance. While being fed the keeper gives info... More

Its is nice little petting zoo inside a beautiful park the Battersea Park. But I think the entry is too expensive for about an hour amd a half tme of fun. At £17 I think ypu need to offer a bit more if you compare to London zoo ticlet price of £23-25 here you dont even have half or 1/3... More

We spent a week camping near London. We had an action packed week doing all the theme parks but one of our day's we wanted a more relaxed family day. We chose to visit Battersea Park Children's zoo and we are SO pleased we did. The staff on arrival were lovely and friendly and that continued throughout our visit. The... More

Small zoo with few animals but enough for toddlers. My son's favourite were the monkeys. There is a fire engine, a large sand pit and an excellent play area for toddlers to explore. The food was reasonably priced and tasty too. We went on a boiling hot day 30c, it was too hot to be honest but obviously nothing to... More

A zoo specialising in small and farm animals, so don't expect to be dazzled byba vast variety of animals. However they still have exotic animals including Meerkats, Coatis and Emus. The farmyard is also and educational and close encounter for children. Good quality animal enclosures along with cafe. Although there is only one toilet it is a very small zoo... More
