There's a world of enjoyment at Battersea Park Children's Zoo. From feeding the farm animals, spying on the meerkats in the secret lookout, children will have hours of fun. With monkeys, snakes, pigs, donkeys, ring tailed lemurs, parrots, rabbits, emu, chipmunks, coati, wallabies and chickens, plus a fun-packed adventure playground with a real tractor and fire engine, it's a great family day out.

Small zoo with few animals but enough for toddlers. My son's favourite were the monkeys. There is a fire engine, a large sand pit and an excellent play area for toddlers to explore. The food was reasonably priced and tasty too. We went on a boiling hot day 30c, it was too hot to be honest but obviously nothing to... More

A zoo specialising in small and farm animals, so don't expect to be dazzled byba vast variety of animals. However they still have exotic animals including Meerkats, Coatis and Emus. The farmyard is also and educational and close encounter for children. Good quality animal enclosures along with cafe. Although there is only one toilet it is a very small zoo... More

Battersea Park zoo is quite a nice little zoo for kids to meet a few friendly animals (donkeys, pony, emu, meerkat, monkeys pigs and much more) and run around. The park is filled with lots of toys and little activities. My little one loves the fire engine and the sand and water activity area (bring some extra clothes just in... More

We visit this zoo regularly with our granddaughter and it is always her favourite place to visit. We enjoy the many different activities relating to the animals particularly the chance to touch those brought out. Feeding the pigs is another highlight . The playground area is a firm favourite and the addition of the new climbing frames has added to... More

We visited Battersea Zoo today during our trip to London. It was our first time there and overall it was enjoyable. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the talk on the Meerkats was informative. There's a lot of play area's for young children and this is spot on as our son loved trying out the different area's. As... More

We went to the zoo with our four year old twin grandchildren and they absolutely loved the zoo. Whilst they showed some interest in the lemurs, monkeys, snakes, wallabies and rats, their main focus of attention was the play equipment. It was very interesting, well laid out and very very extensive. They would have stayed there for many happy hours.... More

Its a small zoo but still you pay at the entrance, there is a cafe where you can find sandwiches/coffee/ice cream etc. There is also a playground where kids always love. Do not forget to buy some spare t-shirts as accidents happen. Its quite and calm as kids here are almist under 6 years old. Not complicated, easy to explore..... More

We visited on a lovely sunny day and had a great time. We used the buy one get one free option as travelling by SouthWest trains. The zoo was very sweet all animals are well cared for. The play parks are fabulous, lots of areas to cater for all ages, Our two year old enjoyed playing in the sand pits.... More

If you have a few hours to devote to young children and are in London then this is the perfect place to go for a couple of hours. As well as animals and birds and snakes and rabbits there are electric tugs on a small boating pond and a creative sand pit (go there and you will see what I... More
